Wahhh??? The NFL is awesome. Especially if you are a UK fan as it provides a way to see at least some good football over the weekend.

it's just become unwatchable -- I have a pretty robust list of reasons why -- and out of curiosity I started looking online for others who were feeling the same

I was surprised at the # of commenters and even professional articles that are out there (Wall St Journal etc) where long-time NFL fans -- are just walking away

Maybe it'll never matter --- God knows they have a big enough business that they can lose fans and expect to gain new ones --- but I **LOVED** the NFL for years and now can't stand to watch

I haven't watched a full game in about 2-3 years

Love the sport -- hate the current product and everything that comes with it

Think the Rams to LA seems right. I'm old so the Rams teams of Eric Dickerson era make me associate them with LA. Actually wish the Cardinals had stayed in St. Louis. Also think the Chargers belong in San Diego. Hope the Raiders stay in Oakland but if they can't get a stadium makes it tough.

Funny, if the Cincy Reds were to apply and move to LA right now and you found out they've been tanking on purpose for the past 8-10 years just so they could get revenue low enough to move.... I guarantee you cincy fans would be beyond upset.

The moving part isnt the upsetting thing, its like being married to someone and finding out they've been cheating on you for 10 years and was just using you until you were broke , then leave.

Dont tell the city of St. Louis that they have a shot to keep you if they do as you ask knowing full well no matter what the city does, you are still leaving. STL could of been using the past 5 years to figure out ways to get another NFL team in or use that would be stadium money to try and get an NBA team or something.

With all the rage about every team getting a new billion dollar stadium, I am really surprised to see the Raiders play in that sh*tbox they have to share with the As. How do both of these stories franchises stay in Oakland under such conditions I have no idea.

I was in favor of the Raiders moving back to LA. I loved the LA Raiders as a kid. They seemed to fit and were well followed. The Bay area already has the 49ers, I don't see why they need two teams. Plus, some of these stadiums getting replaced like the Georgia Dome or the St. Louis dome are palaces compared to that thing in Oakland. It is the last of the multi-purpose shared baseball/football stadiums (ie RIP Riverfront Stadium).

Yeah, Kinda interested in seeing what works out for the Raiders. They still play half the season on a baseball field :/ and other teams have billion dollar stadiums?!

The Rams changed coaches like three times in the past 8-10 years. They drafted a franchise quarterback with the number one overall pick. He kept getting hurt. How is this "tanking"?

So hiring first time head coaches twice in a row is trying? Then hiring J.F. who has had only 4 winning seasons in 20 years is trying?

Look at the owner's career record with teams that he owns. ESPN was all over him the other day from First Take all the way down to his and hers were bashing the owner because on average his teams have winning seasons like once every 5 years.

Arsenal might hold on to win it all this year...

The thing about Fisher is he often finishes 7-9 because the only top 10 quarterback he ever had was McNair.

Fisher has actually had 6 winning seasons and those seasons were outstanding (three 13 win seasons, a 12, 11, and 10 win season). He was outstanding with the Titans when he didn't have salary cap issues. The Rams could do a lot worse though he does seem to be stuck around 7 wins with them.

If I buy a business in Missouri and the sales have been lagging and the business is not doing well, I ought to be able to move MY business to a bigger city with bigger opportunity and better prospects for my business to do well.

It's not selfishness. It's good business.

It's the public funds for stadiums that is the rub.

Keeping Jeff Fisher employed for the last few years qualifies as tanking in my book.

I'm not going to say I'm totally happy with Fisher, but he DID get burned by Bradford getting hurt in back-to-back seasons. Now he's stuck in 7-9 hell because he's trying to beat franchise quarterbacks with Nick Foles and Case Keenum. I was hoping they could somehow finagle Kaepernick out of San Francisco, but it looks like the Niners are trying to keep him.

^ I think he tops out as average at best, and having him in charge while you're struggling on offense just screams content to lose. The Rams roster is pretty stacked aside from the passing game, which is a mess and has been his whole tenure. Brian Schottenheimer didn't seem like he was that great. I would have moved on a while ago - it's rare that a serial 8-8 guy sticks around for so long, especially with what should be one of the best 5 defenses in the league.

I still think he would be 10-6 each of those seasons if he had a top tier quarterback. It's really hard to win in the NFL without one.
