St. Pat's vs St. Rita - Soldiers Field - North Side vs South Side

This is a really fun match up. It's a classic North Side vs South Side match up. Two blue collar all boys schools who need every win they can get. It'll be a slug fest and the crowd should be really into it, maybe a little rowdier than most. What's everyone thinking? St. Rita is supposed to be better than last year, St. Pat's is still supposed to be solid, not world beaters but the usual 4-5 to 6-3 (probably 4-5).

Early line has St. Rita -5.5 but that could build to 6.5 prior to the game.

I'd agree with this. Yes, a must win for both teams. My heart? Mustang 27, Shamrock 12. Head? SR 24, SP 19, thus covering the spread.

I was so nervous watching/thinking that St Pats was gonna end SRs terrific season on that Wed nite in 88.

Was at that game and stormed the field afterwards. Future ND player Brian Hamilton with a key two-point conversion stop at the goal line. Horrible play call, if you ask me when you had T.C. Cameron? with that great speed and all.

Septon or Wild Mustang--any Freshmen numbers for the Mustangs?

No idea, I'm not a Rita guy or a Downers Grove South guy. Most think that because of the username. I'm a Hinsdale South and St. Pat's guy. Above all else, I'm a guys guy and a mans man. Above all else and the rest of that I'm an American.

I always thought you were Mundelein,Morrison,Rolling Meadows or a Evergreen Park guy lol

I'll try to find out. I think they are expecting only 180 or so boys to enroll, so I'm not optimistic about the frosh football numbers.
