. . . 2, that is. Wow! And with a victory against powerhouse Simeon. I know it's not football, but good national exposure to this Augustinian School on the southside of Chicago.

Love this SR team. Def one of the top 5 or so Catholic League teams in the last 30 years. You have the 85 MC team. The 94 MC team. The Fenwick team with Maggette. The Leo title team in the 2000s. Gordon Tech with Kleinschmidt. St Francis de Sales with Eric Anderson

MC was loaded that year 93-94. Walker, McNabb and Willie Jones. their 92-93 team had a little more depth but watching that team was wild. Willie Jones would dunk like Dominique Wilkins during games. Kinda wish PR had been able to coach them.


The MC Thornton playoff game in 94 was the best collection of talent I have ever seen. Antione Walker, McNabb and Thornton had Melvin Ely, Randle El and Tai Streets on the court.
