He definitely had too many drops this year but let's see if this staff can actually improve our talent unlike previous staffs. Glad he's back.

Come on people, this is huge! Stanley is by far our most important recruit for next year. Frosts offense requires a receiver who can go up and make plays while the ball is in the air, and Stanley Morgan is that guy. Stanley was already going to be one of the best receivers in the Big 10 next year and in Frosts offense, he is going to have a monster year. Without Stanley and the already limited depth we have at receiver, this offense was going to struggle in year one. With Stanley, the growing pains are going to be limited and he's going to get this offense kickstarted.

He will thrive in a this offense as he did last year. Hopefully he will add to his skill set under new coaches. He may not be comfortable with the change but I am glad he is thinking it through and making a good decision. GBR!

Any word on JD?
Last I heard he was looking forward to working with Frost but suppose we'll know a lot more after spring ball. I'm sure part of the deal for our WRs is that they came to Nebraska in part to learn how to run routes in an NFL offense.

Part of the deal for NU fans is fielding a team that wins more than it loses. Most NU fans could care less whether JD learns how to run NFL style routes.
Spielman is going to kill it in Frost's system.

I don't know how on earth JD would want to transfer after getting a massive upgrade in coaching staff. Are people still confused and think that the run-pass ratio is gonna look like Navy? Frost dials up quite a few throws.

And oh by the way, guess who figures to be the top punt returner next year?

He will be good in any system and he's had 2 years in a pro style offense but you never know what a 20 year old thinks some times. I suspect he'll like our staff and will stick around.

The "pro routes" thing is overrated. If you are an NFL talent, you can work on your routes. Guys came from Baylor and WVU running a handful of routes and were top picks.

Kevin White can't stop breaking his legs but he was a top-5 pick out of WVU and they yapped endlessly about the lack of route tree in that offense. As far as I'm aware your paychecks still clear if you know 40 routes vs 10.

I don't disagree but tell that to a 20 year old.

This is great news for the next season! If Stan was a senior transfer from another program and had the same stats, I think more people would be excited about the news.
