<--- Before moving on from the Support Team, we had to order, assemble, and configure almost 100 of these desks. Just telling you my experience.

Ah.

Real good thread.

I always wanted to try the big bouncy ball thing. Looks fun.

I have one, got it for $20 on Amazon (with a pump). Works okay, but I can't type very well while using it, so I forget about it sometimes. But it's a nice to have.

Can't believe at how many are bitching. Same stuff your parents' generation said about the things you take for granted. Better is better, period. And from a pure survival of the fittest experience, I'd rather have a better functioning back and spinal system for the zombie apocalypse, thanks.

Honestly, I think it should be those bums in HR. They're one real good unifying benefits portal away from being outsourced anyways.. Might as well pick up a screwdriver and wrench.

At our office you have to build your own desk (or bring your own in) and most people have done standing desks. We came up with a nifty design that looks pretty good and costs about $50 in wood and hardware.

I have an old school tanker desk that I brought in because I'm a MCM honk. I do a lot of standing, walking, and occasional labor in my job so I don't have the need to stand.

Oh, most people with standing desks eventually get barstools to sit on and split their time between standing and sitting.
