Been reading the articles about our incoming Freshmen. The positive comments from the coaches gives me hope. We've got some fast, but mostly undersized kids coming in. Reminds me of Schiano's recruiting philosophy. Hope our Strength/Conditioning Coach can build them up without sacrificing speed/quickness.

I was just talking about Owen Bowles, our incoming freshman Center, there was an article on how he was such a fierce, violent Def Lineman at Timber Creek, yet we will use him at Center or Guard.
Seems it's harder to find quality Def Linemen than O linemen, but doesn't sound like the staff will look at him for Def line.

It's all about speed. My guess is he is fierce but not fast.

As always, you have to believe that the coaching staff knows what they are doing. But, are they being forced to somehow make this team with players not up to the level of the BIG is my biggest concern.

Let's hope that fierceness and violence translates to the other side of the ball.

Cedar Grove , a small, but good Group 1 team, has an under the radar lineman with good size. I haven't heard much about him, I don't think he's been to any camps.
I wonder if he's too slow , or had a recent growth spurt:

77 Justin Gray G, DT Jr. 7-4 337
