How bad did we beat Arizona St in 1995?
How about Syracuse in 1983?
Good point.

But what about this: How often do teams who have lost by 50 or more one year beat the same team the next year?

You've shown us 2 times, I would bet it doesn't happen very often otherwise.

Those two came to mind, I know there is more and I also know that I'm not going to research it.
I agree, it's not a common occurrence. But I also think there are reasons to believe we have a fighter's chance this coming year.
Of course so much can happen between now and then, who the hell knows.

I sure as hell don't... :)

I'm pretty optimistic on the season, but not on that one game. Hoping for a turnaround like he 2 games you referenced!

How do you know TL is the best QB in the B1G? Let's slow it down a bit here.
It's not just a woman's intuition. It's the opinion of the Manning folks. If he is better than the #1 choice in the draft he is surely better than any Big Ten quarterback. Tom isn't all that sold on him. He thinks we ought to give Gebbia the reigns now instead of having a qb change next year. He will never admit it, but he wrong.

Football's a funny game in that things tend to pile up. I don't think we played Ohio State all that bad as much as they had a really good game, and had things go there way. I think the next game will be a lot different

HOW about in one game ? Cant remember the year ( circa 1970?), So Cal was losing by about 5 touchdowns at half to Notre Dame and won the game. Or maybe it was the other way around/ lol

So when you're posing as your wife, do you also wear her undergarments to really get into character?

Give me a straight answer. Forgetting us, why do you think over half of the league basically played OSU even? (PSU wins and the four teams that lost to OSU by a couple of points--Wisky, MU, NW, MSU--out-yarded the Buckeyes.)

You first. Why are you pretending to be a woman? Want a straight answer please. You answer mine and I will answer yours. But for real. No pretend answers.

Please...I guess there is no rational answer why we should be so scared of OSU at our house at night. I don't think Wisky and their fans are running around fearful of them.

You had a wonderful opportunity to get a serious answer from me. All you had to do was come clean. Your loss.

Archie said he threw a better ball, not that he was a better QB. But if TL gets the ball consistly to our backs and receivers in a spot where they get yardage after catch, we will be a better offense. And the word is he puts the ball where they want it.
