If Murphy stays Murphy bulldogs after combining with Andrews and HD then they should keep their titles. That's not going happen though.

Stecoah closed down in the 90s. Their kids then went to Robbinsville. How many did they have in HS. 50?

\Thomasville and Mt Airy stealing all the hype… that’s alright. Mitchell and Robbinsville are perfectly fine with that.

All 8 teams deserve respect. All have stumbled at some point during the season with the exception of ER and MA. The other teams have beaten quality opponents and lost to some quality opponents. A few lost a game they shouldn't have but that is how sports work. We have 8 and will have 4 after Friday. This weeks games are like the old 4th round games. Excited for 1A football the next few years, especially in the West.

East Surry won one Ship around 1964 as the East Surry Rebels and 1 Ship in 2019 as the East Surry Cardinals. So the Cardinals have won one and the Rebels won one.

Just watched some clips on Eastern Randolph, that QB looks like a hoss. He's a big young'n. Built like an NFL TE, with a heck of an arm

He's definitely what you would call "unconventional". If Sebastian Janikowski were a QB, he'd be Stratton Barwick.
