Idk how you guys keep any of the football recruiting straight. Basketball recruiting is like playing checkers compared to this 10th level chess. Those wrinkles on big dogs head must be his actual brain pushing through,it's so big, to keep all this stuff straight.

From what I’ve seen there are two In-state 4 star guys Spencer and Coyner. And 5-6 high 3 star guys and we have one committed already. We won’t have as many homegrown blue chip guys but might sign more than 2022. Getting those key out of state 4 stars will be key to another top 15 class.

One thing I did notice we really lucked out on. In the top 7 for rivals you have a guard, RB, DT, two DE. Positions we didn’t really load up on in 2022.

Kind of crazy now with the transfer rules. Stoops said the other day that part of Gran's job now is organizational, he said Gran keeps a big board in his office with all of the players and their class, in an effort to keep the classes balanced.

Longmire s recruitment will no doubt have an effect on Patterson. IMO, I’m not sure Patterson has had a fully committable offer, don’t know, just my thoughts

Did Longmire sign with anyone last Wednesday?

From watching Patterson play the last 2 years, he is undersized for a TE and not fast enough to play outside. He doesn't play defense much, so I don't know if he will end up at UK either.

Longmire has not signed anywhere yet. Will take visits in January when the dead period ends. And I agree with your assessment of Patterson.

True, but not only that they play a much more intricate sport & stick around 3-6 years such that you get the chance to know them & see them develop. Plus, they're encouraged to bang into each other w/o being penalized for brush contact on the wrist.

Ok offered him early on but I don't think they're actively recruiting him. Clink probably offered him when he 1st got to UM but I from what I have read they're not recruiting him now either. UC had him in on a visit

Thought that was odd. Since signing day figured it had changed but that is what they listed on the article I read.
