I am a Milwaukee Braves fan. Saw the Braves at County Stadium when Hank Aaron was a young player with Eddie Matthews, Warren Spahn, Lew Burdette, etc. Grandparents lived in a small town about 20 miles from the stadium. Quitr a thrill for a little boy growing up in the fifties.I saw the Milwaukee Braves, but not the Boston Braves. I also missed Paul Revere and Ben Franklin.
SPECT Imaging and I are life long Braves fans, probably because the Louisville Colonels were the AAA farm team for the Braves in those days. Back in the day, our fathers would drive us to Fairgrounds Stadium (on the property of Freedom Hall in Louisville) to see the Colonels play. After the games, we would stand outside the Colonels locker room and get autographs when the players left. Many Colonels players got promoted to Milwaukee, so it was easy for us to become Braves fans.
FWIW, the Giants and Willie Mays relocated to SF in 1957. That same year, the Brooklyn Dodgers relocated to LA. The Braves relocated from Milwaukee to ATL in 1966.

Is it too early to panic concerning the '26 class. One commitment and after the first weekend in June, several targets committing elsewhere and we didn't register any verbals. I love the way our staff closes in the fall, but I'm worried right now. We need some positive news that will hopefully create some momentum for this upcoming class.
And we just received our second verbal commitment for this class today. WR Davis McCray from Texas is now on board, hopefully this builds momentum for a big weekend ahead.WAY too early for that. It isn't a concern at all. The OVs are just getting started. No team gets every player they offer.

Updates for UK's OV schedule have been happening almost by the day, so it's likely there will be more changes. It's a good list. Some fans have sounded forlorn that some of these prospects are committed to other schools. Not to worry. Flips will happen, even if they are unpredictable.
Since a federal judge just approved a legislative plan for profit-sharing, language in that plan to increase the size of rosters will also be implemented. It is already clear that the size of SEC football rosters will be increased. Although it is not yet clear how much of an increase the SEC will approve in 2026, the federal plan calls for an eventual increase to 105 scholarships.
Lots of uncommitted high-ceiling prospects remain on UK's OV list. Soon, there will be more UK commitments. And, don't forget, there will be more important OVs in the fall. There always are. At this early point, there is no rational justification to predict a poor class so don't pay attention to the noise.
No worries.Thanks for the update
Rembrandt your confidence is very optimistic - I sure hope you are correct. But how our class finishes in December will also depend on who the Head Coach is then. It might be Stoops and it might be someone else. Who actually controls if Stoops will be back? It's Stoops! If this team plays hard and disciplined and wins 6 games or more - he will be back if he wants to continue coaching here.No worries.
It's been interesting to watch how this OV list has evolved. This year is a weak instate class outside of Strickland, and a fairly weak class in OH as well. To adapt, our coaches have made some offers in VA, NC, TX, and CA as well as all across the deep south. We already got McCray out of San Antonio. I'm keeping an eye on all the GA and AL prospects who are OVing.

The team was actually not as bad as the record was last year. The issues I have mentioned is what derailed the team. When you look back UK should have beaten Vanderbilt. It just missed one of the biggest upsets in school history against Georgia. The Florida blow out was NOT a blowout - people forget UK was leading early in the 4th quarter at the Swamp - I was at the game and the Florida fans were concerned. We win two of those games and everyone is looking at this season totally different! At the moment the attitudes of the fans are down - the coaching staff hasn't given us anything to get excited about - and our memories are still from the Louisville game.
However, if the locker room issues continue, the team plays like it doesn't care and we have a lack of discipline then as one famous coach said when he left here - "it's time for a new voice"! I'm not optimistic - but come out and win the first 4 games or 3 of the first four and everything changes. Likely, not. But as I have said before - this team could come out 2-5 and end the season 6-6 or even 7-5 - if the coaches keep coaching and keep the team motivated - the back end of our schedule has many opportunities for wins!
Go Big Blue!
Wow, great analysis, where did you get it? From your ***? Just got a commit with offers from a bunch of SEC schools.Recruiting is about to go back toward Joker level Recruiting now that Marrow is going to uofl.

I seriously doubt that. You are overreacting, which seems to be par for the course on this board.Recruiting is about to go back toward Joker level Recruiting now that Marrow is going to uofl.
I never saw Paul Revere with Ben Franklin but I did catch him years later with the Raiders.I saw the Milwaukee Braves, but not the Boston Braves. I also missed Paul Revere and Ben Franklin.
