They should be in. All 12 of their hard core basketball fans will be excited. Plus the bandwagon that will come out to pay attention now. I'm in central PA and there's a joke I've heard on occasion - can't spell Nittany without NIT. Well it makes more sense in other years...

Penn State fans care about football first followed by wrestling. The latter because they've been dominant the past decade or so. Basketball is pretty far down the list. But it's a diversion when they do well. Probably been a decade or so since they made the dance

They probably have the lamest BB fan base maybe in the nation (P5 schools) but they were in before beating Illinois and they are totally in now...and they will be an annoying match up in the first round because they shoot the 3 so well.
