But it's not all bad. We do pretty well on both sides of the passing game. You can tell from our "bad" stats that our line play is struggling. Rushing defense/offense and sacks/sacks allowed are both bad.

The bad:
Rushing offense: 125th
Turnover margin: 121st
Sacks allowed: 123rd
Rushing defense: 129th
Sacks: 111th

The good:
Passing offense: 24th
Passing defense: 15th

Major caveat, of course, is that this is through 2 games.

Maybe our pass defense can force them to be one-dimensional in the run game where they rank 92nd with 129.5 ypg :)

The passing defense no doubt is ranked high due to the rushing defense being the 3rd worst in the country. No need to pass if you
can run the ball and the other team can't stop you.

I've posted this quote here before but here it is again:

Baseball statistics are like a girl in a bikini. They show a lot, but not everything. — Toby Harrah

Applies to football as well.
Maybe we control the TOP and they rarely have the ball or special teams has a great day and we return every KO for a TD :D
