Well, here I am once again....writing about how our boys in baby blue argyle got hosed by the officials. We always know playing Dook in Derm or New York and its 8 on 5.

Stats and stuff:
- Grayson Allen absolutely owns us. But he's still not a very good player, Roy doesnt care if the other team makes 3s.

- Fat Boy came to play today. 15 big 1st half points. He was grinning ear to ear like he won a happy meal after every bucket he got. He was huge in the 2nd half with 4 points.

- Justin Jackson showed why he was ACC POY. Even though Kennard was better than Jackson in every single category this year, Jackson was an efficient 16 points off of 22 FGA. Kennard was very inefficient tonight with 20 points off 7 FGA.

- Big Luke Maye with 0 points and 5 fouls.

I seen way more blown calls against duke, how about early in the game a ref is standing next to amile, unc knocks it out of bounds and its magically off of amile, Jackson Elbowed in the mouth but there was no contact although if Grayson had done it he would be ejected.

There are a few things in life you can count on, death, taxes and the complaining about the zebras making unjust calls against them. Its the most predictable thing in sports. They are really a sad and sickening bunch of losers. Got to hell unc,

You don't even need to visit THR to find the stupidity. This girl posted on FB and I quote "officials should be suspended when they decide who wins".

The ball that Berry knocked out of Luke's hands and they called it out off Kennard was crazy as well. That was early in the first half

How about Greenburg screaming after the game about Berry's 4th. Replay clearly showed him hacking Frank's wrist/forearm. Pretty sure they have replay up there. Davis and Williams totally ignored the BS claim.

Are they ever gonna stop complaining about everything and stop with the non stop excuses..Refs being the biggest! Didn't we beat them the first game with them leading in FTs ?in ((((our))) building!??? How do you explain that lol

The refs were bad last night - and those of you that know me on this board know I never complain about refs. But they were bad both ways; seemed like it pretty much evened out for me. Berry picking up his fourth was obviously huge last night, but two things: the replay clearly shows him hitting Frank's forearm and I don't know how anyone can deny that. Secondly.. Berry had three fouls and is a vet - he's gotta be smarter than picking up a ticky tack foul like that with so much time left.

Berry being in foul trouble was big...Amile was in foul trouble too...I'd say he's pretty important to Duke when playing against UNCs bigs. The thing I notice is the Duke gameplan clearly emphasizes not fouling, even if that means giving up some easy looks. A lot of UNC fans keep saying how is it possible that a team with great post play doesn't get fouled more. Well a lot of Dukes guys just got out of the way instead of contesting some shots. You want to talk about a big call against Duke, how about Allen's and one that got called off? He barely made contact, it was clearly a make up for the 50/50 call that happened on the other end the play before. If Allen's shot counted Duke would've rolled to double digit win...Oh wait...

Yeah, what UNC fans are missing is the stupidity of Berry. Even if he didn't foul him, which he did in fact do, he reached. Simply by reaching you're putting yourself in a precarious situation for something to be called. The refs got that call right.

Listen we're not here to discuss:

(1) the bogus out of bounds call that went against Duke even though Berry clearly knocked the ball out of bounds,
(2) or the bogus offensive foul on Grayson that he actually scored on,
(3) or the 3 ridiculous fouls on Jefferson, or
(4) the fact Roy left Berry in the game with 3 fouls and 18:00 left on the clock,
(5) or the fact that Giles was called for a foul on Berry when Giles swipe at the ball didnt even make contact with Berry or the ball,
(6) or the fact that UNC was 5-22 from 3pt range,
(7) or the fact there was a 25 point swing from Dook being down 13 to going up 12

....it was all the zebras fault! I cant wait until Duke gets in the tournament without ACC officials. Jes sayin!

It still ticks me off that nothing was done with the elbow from Jackson. I agree that it was a bball move but he got that chicken wing up and elbowed Frank in the head. Same as Grayson. The difference being who it was. That is inconsistent calls. IMO neither elbow should have been nothing more than a play on but it didn't turn out that way. But Duke gets all the calls

I think the key to the game was locking down Big Luke Maye. If he goes off on a 3 point barrage it would have been a different game. So glad Roy developed him for the Tournaments by playing him alot during the season so he could not sneak up on us, like say Giles did to them.

You forgot the part about Roy pooping himself against K once again. To me this is the biggest factor and even some on THR are saying it. ONe coach giving his team every opportunity to win-the other doing the exact opposite.

Lets put a lineup of Maye, Britt, Woods, Robinson, and Bradley on the court the last 3 minutes of the first half while our hard fought lead withers away. Lets not put Berry back in the game even after A 4-20 run and the team looking lost. Lets not play meeks at all in the second half after he dominates the first. Lets not call a Time out. Ok Im done.

Bilas blurting out ,"He flopped!" was perfect. He admitted he was mistaken, but he should have apologized for the assertion. He's clearly playing some kind of career game. Classic lawyer stuff.
