After the state final and state semi run they graduated all their starters. Had an unreal class of athletes led by Grayson Overstreet! Then Coach Poston retired, coaching turmoil in first season, and just seemed to have been trying to regain footing since. That Fear the Wing culture was wild to watch! Almost like a supernova for a few years there of racking up points and rushing yards!
Talent moves in cycles, SRHS is in bedford county by smith mountain lake. The run they had was built by the belief in the system and centered around a once in a blue moon style player for them in Overstreet. The program never was a perennial winner aside from those years. They Cited competition as a reason for leaving the Seminole aside from just travel, when they left.
