Yeah, but I linked the poll that says released today Feb. 24; also has our record as 18-9, which is current.

Louisville will be ranked above UK by end of season. Pollsters value win loss records almost above everything, no mater SOS. this is even more pronounced at the end of season in football. There is also a great deal of envy/hatred of the SEC.

Can't be upset about it. Went 1-1. I think it's pretty good that we stayed at 17 while getting one of the tougher games out of the way (Alabama).

Should they? They're not predicting NCAA seeds. They're doing more What have you done lately? If we're missing players, we may not be a Top 20 team. Kerrs not coming back, so why factor that in.

Now, if we get Butler back and win some games, they should move us up faster, but that's just not how it's ever been done.

These people don't care about injuries. We have 9 losses and counting. We are the highest ranked 9 loss team in AP.

We are 3rd in coaches with 9 losses but that's because Purdue and Arizona were already ranked ahead of us.


These polls are and always will be meaningless though. The one poll that matters was the top 16 reveal.

Coaches poll is the worst one anyway.

Some 3rd tier assistant filling it out and the only teams they are watching are the ones on their upcoming schedule.

A lot of the AP voters don't know the difference in a basketball from a softball. The committee that seeds the teams in the NCAAT is the ONLY poll that means anything.

Probably true. KP is a meteorologist that never played the game. Joey Brackets is a marketer that never played the game. Yet people give their computer games weight.
