Same thing. A HOF coach should eat a first time NCAA tournament coach alive. But, it is not like the TT coach didn't make multiple adjustments to come from 16 down in the 2nd half.
For one thing, he never lost his poise while Cal gagged again.
What I meant was the loss is more on what Cal did wrong than what TT did right. Which honestly is typical of Cal and his choke jobs.

For instance, the Duke win was more on what Pope did right to out coach Scheyer with those epic adjustments.

Seth looked extremely uncomfortable up there. I wish Stephen A said this statement - "last night was the reason Coach Cal was ran out of Kentucky"
Seth's baloon got busted and a clown is not happy without his balloon.

Seth was sooooo ready to give BBN the middle finger over his old buddy Cal and rub it in on national TV when Cal made the FF this year, and Cal losing forced him to stick it somewhere else.

well, technically Cal did call a timeout during the TT run.

he just didn't call a time out with under 10 seconds left

Wagner taking a 17 foot shot as time expired was probably option 15 of what he would have told them to do during a time out.

Just because "that is what Cal does" doesn't make it acceptable. Its common coaching practice to call a time out in that situation, and given Cal's last 5 years, he shouldn't be given a pass on his decision to not do it.

The spacing Arkansas had on the floor for last shot was classic Cal. Two guys in lane cluttering it up, two guys for logo threes, and DJ with deep 2. DJ needed dudes in lane out of there and crashing boards after he drove. He couldn't drive though because of clutter.

This guy claiming open teammates is mistaken. I guess one player that was deep drug his defender in as well.

This board cracks me up. 99% of the time SAS comments here are complaining about how dumb he is, but as soon as he says something everyone agrees with he's amazing.
Well, blind squirrel and all that. He’s certainly not amazing
I don’t like SAS either and most of the time his takes are of the wtf variety
But this time he was correct..,and he’s a well known talking head. So…

Yeah only Johnell Davis was open but they were all out of sorts which is why you call the timeout there to get it in Davis hands .

I could see if this was a back and forth offensive game and you let them go but that wasn’t the case .

Damned if you do, damned if you don't. I see both sides of the argument here. It didn't help that all four of DJ's teammates just stood and ball-watched either, essentially doing absolutely nothing to get open or help him out.
Pope would have called a time out. He also would have fouled the other team before they had a chance to shoot the 3 to tie the game.
Cal can't coach when the game is on the line. SIXTEEN point lead! 😂

Stephen A Smith is a loudmouth, arrogant with noting to back it up, and just plain annoying. I turn off the volume whenever he's on. Our next President? When pigs fly.

yea, after seeing that twitter post this morning. I went back and watched All the Arkansas players knew who was taking the shot and what was going to happen, and they were all standing around watching it.

Arkansas was kicking *** all game and DJ looked decent. Decided that watching Cal and Duke win wasn't worth my time and stopped paying attention. Finally looking at my parleys about midnight I noticed what happened and would have liked to seen it. We have our own situation brewing hours from now and not gonna say alot about Cal until we handle business or get dealt with. Gonna be a war and I would suspect our guys are ready.
