He would draw Double teams weekly, resulting in Others excelling. and Yes, this team is IMO is very fragile, a loss or two (by a point or two) would devastate them. And i feel this game can easily come down to two or three plays.. every PLAYwill matter, say a Strip sack and momentun changes... Lets see, he was a 5 star recruit out of High School, was a Freshman All American at USC, and is 6'5" 250 lbs, you cant teach size!!! was injured last year, played hurt.. To be honest, i didnt think he wold be on the field as a Gamecock again!!

Not expecting much is a good thing for me

He's not seen any game action since November. Charlie Strong said last week on tv that no matter what, he won't be in game condition- and he was talking positive about him.

I think it's obvious his back was hurt much worse than anyone ever though- including the coaches. My uneducated guess is it could have involved some nerve issues given the extended amount of time he was not doing anything- not even hitting in preseason practice.

I hope our football team has sent him to some back specialists that work with NFL teams to get multiple opinions. If not, we are taking a risk if he was hurt again that we are accused of "rushing him" or "we should have let him sit and we don't care about protecting our best players" and that sort of crap being said about us.

I wish I could enlighten you but there‘s not much to go on.

Even if he’s healthy, I don’t get the impression he’d lay it all on the line this close to going to the NFL. I think he’d like to have a couple of good games against solid opponents before shutting it down for the year. But that’s just speculation on my part. Maybe he’s a standup guy and isn’t in it just for the money . . . .

I'm not a hater. I value truth, honesty and hard work. I've seen neither from him or the coaches regarding him. I also don't like giving children like him money for nothing. As a GC Club member and ticket (4) holder for 55 years I dang sure get to express my thoughts.

From what I know about pretty much all college football practices, a week of practice does not mean 10 days of ones vs. ones full contact scrimmage. Most programs have one, maybe two days of full contact, ones vs. ones full speed, full contact scrimmage in a week. So, if Stewart has been back practicing for 2 weeks, he probably only has about 4 days of full contact. Full speed in an SEC game is a totally different creature.

I will be interested to see what Stewart and Peak actually do.

Let me be honest. I've never liked Stewart's work ethic and effort in games. He has been suspiciously hurt constantly. Didn't we get burned by juice just prior to this happening. So I'll stand by my assumption that he is playing the money bag game and we are getting burned again. It makes it hurt more as a donor. I'm getting screwed by children and the university is taking my seat I've had my entire life unless I double my annual donation.

I was wrong. Stewart played. - Will eat my crow. I'm glad he got some reps and didn't injure himself. I wasn't sure about Beamer until tonight. I really wanted him to work out here...but it's obvious to me now that is not going to happen. He sunk his stock into the SS. Sellers and that's what will seal his fate. Dumb move.

But I'm not deflecting. Stewart played and I was wrong. Bottom line.
