Its nice to see this couple so happy to revive this piece of restaurant nostalgia.

Chapter 2 will be they sunk their life savings into it but never could make it work. Now they find themselves in $500,000 in debt and are going through a divorce. And oh yeah don't forget about the unpaid back taxes!

Eat well Massachusetts !!! (While you can)

Yeah I find this stuff way too interesting. I remember that we had a Ground Round in Lexington when I was kid. Can't remember exactly when it closed, maybe around 1990 or so?

Bringing back Dead Franchises in the Restaurant world rarely works if ever. There was a big push to try to revive Bennigans. It didn't work. I heard someone is trying to bring Chi Chi's back.

Steak & Ale opened a location in Minnesota last year that's connected to a Hotel. Now bring one of them to where I live and I'll be there.

There was a Ground Round on Mall Road in Florence, Ky for a long time. I think it closed around 2010 or so. Actually, it closed in 2004. Longer ago than I thought.

one in front of Southland Bowling Lanes? Movies, peanuts on the floor and a big sign that said "Don't eat yellow snow"

Yep, turned into a yard pond landscaping place I think. It was pretty good from what I remember. I think it went downhill when Logans Roadhouse and some of the ribs places opened up in town but it’s been a while so who knows what did it in.
