FSU commit Malik Clark said of us continuing to recruit him: “It’s not every day, but they are checking up on me to see how I am doing. They’re saying I’ve always got a spot at home and it’s always better to stay home and I appreciate it for them believing in me so much, even after I’m committed. They want me so bad on their team.”

Not sure how that last statement sits with me.

So this goes back to "These kids don't know how to honor a commitment."
Clark has "committed" to FSU, but we continue to recruit him.
Like I said in another thread, this falls completely on the coaches who refuse to acknowledge the players commitment.

Now back to the original topic. Based on his statement, it doesn't sound like he's going anywhere.

It’s not one or the other. It falls on them both. The coaches didn’t make the commitment, the players do. I don’t see anything wrong with coaches making sure they’re still interested. There is no such thing as a true commitment anymore. It’s just a term used for recruiting that basically means in the lead and I’m wearing that gear exclusively to high school for a while…especially the way things are now.
