while that may be a little harsh on wildcat1st, I agree with his remark about them wishing to have a bonafide "elite" player, and they had him already. They didn't step up for the young man, he explored his options, made a choice. It empowers him to be in control of how far he can go.
and I agree he can go a LONG way with his career, moving to Kentucky to play and step into what will be an elite level - role, whatever you want to call it.
We will LOVE him being a wildcat next year.
It's the guys like Mo D and Aberdeen that have been beating us with the teams in our league. So, if you can't beat 'em, join them.
And just look at them and the team that CMP has in store for next year, it's obvious him and his staff learned some very important lessons. We're in good hands around here with players like him, for sure, absolutely 100% so.
