I've seen him doing the same thing many weeks ago. Just standing around and on some plays just giving up while he could still be giving effort.

Really doubt that. I hope to god they are not counting on a 300 pound guy to have backside contain.

That one was on Domann. He went for the fake with the RB and that wasn't his job IMO. I'm not sure how he could miss the WR coming around on that reverse. Very poor recognition that clearly Purdue had thought would be there.

Well...contain is not about size it is about the steps you take. Generally speaking if there is not a play fake to your side and you are the last dude on the LOS your steps should be one of two things...

1. Your back foot comes up and you stay square and read until the ball crosses the LOS
2. You take 3 read steps upfield (assuming you are unblocked) and read.
