No doubt we would not be where we are without him. Hit a big 3 yesterday late etc. I don’t think we have seen him cut loose like he did earlier in the season. Partly due to double teams etc. Other players have stepped up big time. I think somehow he has to get loose for some big offensive bursts while others continue to surprise if this magical run is to continue. What a great couple of weeks this has been for Hawk fans!

The announcer analysts made a good point about having Stirtz on the weak side away from the ball in Combs' hands etc which eliminates so much doubling of stirtz. But it also seemed like Stirtz was penetrating more yesterday and he does that so well, finishes, or makes a good dish

I love the term "Gravity". No doubt Bennett creates a strong force that attracts double teams, thus freeing up other teammates in the rotation for open shots.

I disagree that he brings up the ball nearly every possession, but he does handle the ball at some point of every possession.

I thought the late three he made, considering some of the bad misses just previous, took some real stones. Very clutch.

He ended up going 3 - 9 from deep. Not too bad, and it's obviously better than the prior outing, 0 - 9. He'll catch fire yet, and watch out when he does!

Probably face Boswell all game tomorrow.
Boswell is a strong physical defender, but I think Bennett can beat him off the dribble.

And the team is far better with these other players stepping up rather than it just being the Bennett Stirtz show.

He definitely had some ugly shots in the 2nd half. But he was hitting some tough ones in the first half and had 2 massive buckets down the stretch, hard take to the rim with a crazy good finish and obviously the 3 to FINALLY take the lead. When the dude has 20pts and we’re saying he needs some offensive outburts…shows how freaking good he is.

Couldn’t believe some of those shots that went in on a drive to the basket for him. I think part of the reason he often doesn’t get the foul call on some of those is the refs don’t expect it to go in if he’s fouled.
