Some guys are just head coach material. Stoops is not proving to me that he has what it takes to lead a power 5 conference team. Great recruiter, but at some point in time those guys need to be coached up.

Towels is over his head. Sliding short of the first down? Kid has to know where the finish line is when running. He's even said it before. Hes wearing pads to play football. Quit worrying about getting hit in short yard runs.

You're frustrated I understand why you're a douche.

????

Every knowledgeable poster on here knows Dawson has instructed PT and Baker to slide (see his first game).

Why am I the douche?

You are misinformed and look silly complaining about a player doing what his coach instructed.

You want to ***** about Dawson demanding slides and taking away QB runs? I'm with you.

No I'm fully aware Dawson has told him to slide. I never said he hasn't as you may have thought for some reason. I was stating the kid needs to know where he needs to get for a first down if he's going to slide.

I can be with you on that, but the last sentence wasnt necessary or correct.

"Quit worrying about getting hit in short yard runs."

I think he's just not that good at sliding, but he is not worried about getting hit.

I hate this sliding, the kid is 6'5 240, running may be his best aspect.

Kid needs to be smart and not take hits for no reason, but also like any good QB has to know where the sticks are at and make first downs when needed. 6'5 and 240 is larger than anyone on the field except d-lineman.

And when he slides, most of the time, he is at the 2nd and 3rd levels, so he has corners and safeties which he out weighs by 40 pounds.

I said that because he was quoted saying that "he puts pads on to play football. He isn't afraid to get hit at the quarterback position" but I agree...he's not a good slider
