Joker was TOTALLY chilled out while Arkansas ran up and down the field like they we're playing against a peewee league team...

Joker was SO chilled out that he allowed the program the reach the level of a BAD OVC school without ever appearing to care.
But he gave the team ice cream. And gave them the 2nd half off of a game when we were getting ran into the ground instead of making them sit through the rain delay. I think people are forgetting just how bad the Joker tenure became.

No, no one forgot. Yall are using it as an excuse to give Stoops a pass. No one forgets that trashy *** UK fans killed the coach for driving an ice cream truck to practice either. As if that had anything to do with anything. Harbaugh did the same thing at Ravens camp, it didnt seem to be the same issue that it was here for some reason.

I agree. When Joker came in, he was supposed to have some great offense and recruiting, both were horrid. His offense was in the bottom five, if not last if I remember correctly, of the country. Aside from just the star rankings, the offer sheets of recruits were far from what we have now. He may have had a few recruits that had offers from a few of the P5 schools, but generally was competing with mid majors. Stoops still has time, but in my mind, Joker was the worst coach in memory. I didn't think anyone would be worse than the Curry days. Call me when we are 2-10....best quote ever.

And to be fair to stoops and the d line, he was expecting to have both Jason Hatcher and Reggie meant after this last season ended. Those were shocks that they were not around. Also the Lloyd Tubman (we don't know how good he would of been). All of these effected the depth at the front seven. None of our linebackers had got any good minutes going into Saturday either. That defense is so young up front (from a playing standpoint).

Probably because they weren't getting embarrassed on a weekly basis. It was a bad move on his part from an appearance standpoint. And I'm not giving Stoops a pass. Saturday was embarrassing and I hate it for the guys on the team. We need 6 wins this season and that's not looking promising. However, stoops has brought in much better talent than he inherited. If he continues to fail at the coaching side of things and not make a bowl this year or next year then he will at a minimum have left the next coach with a roster that had solid skill position players. The only way he is gone this year is if it's a total collapse and we win 3 or less.

He did in camp when it was 90+ degrees before the season started. How was he getting embarrassed on a weekly basis? Yall haters love making up stuff. It was an innocuous thing that the players enjoyed and it even made sportscenter even though you say it was a bad look. Many of our fans turned it into a negative because they had an agenda.

Didn't we basically forfeit a 2nd half game with Joker?
No a game was called against Arkansas in the 3rd quarter because of weather but hey, why stop making up stuff now. Forfeit is much better for the agenda.

We forfeited a game that the SEC made the decision to call because of weather and Joker gave out ice cream when we were getting embarrassed on a weekly basis... in camp before the season started.

Career highlights:
Joker: #10 South Carolina(9-5), Tennessee(5-7) to break the streak, #17 Kent State(11-3), losing last second to National Champs Auburn, at UofL(7-6)

Stoops: #25 Mizzou(5-7), South Carolina(7-6), at South Carolina (3-9)

Ugliest Games
Joker: WKU loss, Arkansas loss(4-8), Vandy blowout(9-4)

Stoops: WKU loss, EKU OT, USM loss, Vandy loss(4-8)

Combined Records
Joker: 13-24
Stoops: 12-25

In all I am not quite sure how Stoops is considered any better of a coach than Joker. Ecspecially considering how much better Stoops has recruited.

Also something to think about is how strong the East was in 2011-2012. Compared to how weak it has been the last 2 years.

Take this info how you would like.

LMAO

Im pretty sure no one is wanting Joker back. Your comprehension skills are worse than Stoops coaching. You probably shouldn't be calling anyone a clueless buffoon.
Actually, I have read plenty of your brainless ramblings on here. This post is a perfect example of your stupidity.

You have taken too many draws off your meth pipe today. Tell me in any post I said anyone wanted him back. I said I didn't want him back. Those are the facts. The rich irony of a clown like you talking about reading comprehension. [laughing] Now is there any other topics you want to discuss so I can humiliate you further?

I didn't come back at you at all. Did I reference your post? No. Why? Because I paid no attention to what you posted. In fact, I usually just glance over your posts briefly because they generally are worthless. And your drivel posted in this thread confirms why. [smoke]

Like I told the JIDF (Joker internet defense force) before, Joker inherited a team that went to 5 straight bowls. 3 years later that team would struggle to finish 500 in the Sun Belt.

There is no defending it. You can perform any amount of mental gymnastics you want, but it will not make him a better coach. And Stoops has been handicapped coming in after Joker. Hell, Brooks inherited a better situation than Stoops.

That being said, saturdays loss is on Stoops. And it was a bad one. I dont know if he is the man for the job (I feel he is), but one thing is for certain. Joker has been the worst hire of the modern era and it's not even close. Even Curry was better.

If you wanna find out what direction a coach is going, look at their 1st and 3rd year.

Joker first year 6-6...Jokers last year 2-10
Stoops first year 2-10...Stoops last year 5-7

Literally not 1 person defended Joker. I said he did a terrible job and deserves to be fired. No one is defendeding whatever nonsense you're talking about.

My guess is that the reason Harbaugh avoided criticism on this board is (1) not many fans probably even knew about it, and (2) since there are probably not too many Ravens fans on a UK board, most UK fans would not really have reason to blast him if they did know, and, finally, (3) based on Harbaugh's overall record, he could show up for practice dressed like Bozo the Clown and get away with it. With all said, there are a lot of UK fans, myself included, who weren't really too worried about Joker driving an ice cream truck.

Both were coordinators at a major D-1 program (one offensive/one defensive)
Both had ZERO head coaching experience prior to being hired
Both are perceived as "Pretty good guys" who everybody would love to see do well
Both have fielded teams that looked inept more often than is acceptable (even by UK standards)
Both have fielded atrocious defenses
Both appeared way in over their head
Both spent time on the hot seat
Both will leave UK as very wealthy men that didn't deserve the money they received

I see a lot of similarities between the two, unfortunately.
