I have to see what Brohms system looks like with new players. Its easy to look good when you got vets and a QB who can make an NFL roster, the QB didn't suddenly get good when Brohm got there.

Yes but if we want him by 2017 we can afford him. I like Stoops but getting Brohm here would be huge. I think he would totally wrap up recruiting in Louisville and the state.

Even if he could wrap up the recruiting, what could he do in the other states. We normally only produce 4 to 6 D-1 players in Kentucky each year. How well could he recruit Ohio? These questions need to be answered, but it doesn't matter for two more years, and hopefully not for a long time.

First time I had seen anything in print about Brohm and UK from a national standpoint.

The most logical place for Brohm to wind up would be right down the road in Lexington. Kentucky coach Mark Stoops struggled again in 2015 to another 5-7 season and people are beginning to speculate whether or not things will pan out for Bob's brother. His starting quarterback from the last two seasons, Patrick Towles, had enough of it and decided to transfer to Boston College. If the kingdom is crumbling, Brohm could take the reins and run with it.

Would be a home run hire, but Teflon Mitch doesn't care/know enough about big time football to make a hire like that. Mitch would rather hire a completely unproven coordinator than an ultra successful coach like Brohm. Such is the agony of being a UK football fan. We just have to sit there and take it while we watch coaches like Petrino and Leach (who were literally begging to be here) go to schools with barely half of our football fan base and have success while our loyal fans continue to suffer.

During Teflon's tenure we have gone from being HANDS DOWN the preeminent program in the state with the largest/best stadium in the state, to having Louisville and Western Kentucky (and possibly even EKU) pass us up because of Teflon's lack of vision and tenacity when it comes to hiring a coach and building a program. Teflon has not only NOT increased the size of our stadium or built fan support, but has SHRUNK our stadium and just as I predicted before it happened, Louisville (with an AD that has vision and a killer attitude) expands their stadium to completely cement their place as the state's preeminent football program.

We as Kentucky fans have taken this garbage for too long during Teflon's tenure. I mean, my goodness..look at what has happened to UL and WKU (schools with not even half of our football fanbase, history, or resources) since Teflon has been AD..it's completely disgraceful and unacceptable. When is enough going to be enough..when Morehead State passes us up?..when Teflon decreases the stadium to 20,000 seats? Honestly, I thought our fans watching UL and WKU passing us might do the trick, but apparently it's going to take quite a bit more because our fans seem to have been lulled to sleep and are content to sit on their hands and accept the same excuses that we've heard for years, even after those excuses get proven wrong one after the other.

Mitch is much too stupid to ever hire a coach as good a Brohm. Brohm is way out of Mitch's league. Mitch allowed this football program to be what it's become.....A laughing-stock around the nation.

If I were Brohm, I'd never want to coach under an AD as dumb as Mitch Barnhart. That's the truth.
The truth is your opinion is appreciated by someone on this board. Perhaps he/she will come forth to give you the just confirmation.

I thought South Carolina would have been a good fit for Brohm. I am still having problems with the Mushcamp hire. Could USCjr have picked a worse coach? I think not.
