Great article. I found it interesting that when Collins sighted similar academic institutions that have sustained success it was ND and Virginia and NU football - no mention of Duke.
Thanks. That is one of the best articles I have read yet on where we are this season. I liked that it expanded into the facilities upgrades as well.
Thanks for sharing. That's a good article, and clearly written by someone who is paying attention. The stuff about the facility upgrades was nice to hear about, but it disappointed me knowing that next year - which could be a very special year for the team - will be spent away from Evanston. They could even be preseason top 25, according to Seth Davis and about 50 people here!
Buried in the article was the mention that NU will be looking to add one or two grad transfers before next season.

We wouldn't want any unbridled optimism in the fan base. People might start standing up at games to cheer.

Until the Cats mathematically cannot get 25 wins in the regular schedule, I'm thinking optimistically.
But I can't sleep much anyway.

I would like to think that he's paying attention, but GBN HS isn't 25 miles from Evanston as it says towards the beginning of the article. It's about 10 miles. Maybe 25 minute drive?
