Penn State Nittany Lions football finished the 2021 campaign at 7-6 following a loss to the Arkansas Razorbacks in the Outback Bowl.

Until I see them follow-up a hard loss with a win instead of an ugly loss, or win a game they aren't supposed to, I'm skeptical of where Coach Franklin is leading this team.

Good stuff. The woe is me crap will be around for a while, but people will still be interested next year. The same coach who went to 3 NYD 6 bowl games in 4 years is now an absolute idiot.....yeah ok. There are some things that need to be addressed, but there should be some talent coming in to hopefully help the cause. Singleton in particular and Allen himself looked good in his AA game.

A loss to either Auburn, Ohio State or Michigan in the first 5 games next year will deflate the team.

As far as Franklin’s new contract goes, is ‘22 year one, or two? The latter will not raise my optimism, but makes the light at the end of the tunnel a bit brighter…
