Looks like he comtemplated booking it back to the plane at 10 second mark.

That dude is not happy, and only has himself to blame. He could have fixed this mess. All he had to do was go on a radio show, take real questions, empathize with fans, tell them what he was gonna do, and rebuild the marriage. All he had to do was call the Crafts and do the exact same **** with them. He didn't wanna do any of it, because he felt like everyone else was the problem. It couldn't have been Cal. Self reflection will either make or break this man, it's his choice.

Reminds me of some prince or el Presidente that just got airlifted out of a hostile coup.

I’ve been as ready as anybody for change, but I can’t help but feel sad at that video. Oh, what should have been!

I always thought if Cal left UK, it would be to a smaller program (think UMass) where he’d have zero pressure. Arkansas fans can be just as crazy as us, and they will expect a FF with that salary and nil.

I’m glad Cal is gone, but there is a part of me that is sad to see him in this situation. It’s kind of like a family member that you’re fed up with, but you see the decisions they make on Facebook and just shake your head.

He took the job to stick it to us bennies and needed his ego aggrandized some more. But now, I think it's dawning on him that he is going to have to start working hard again. He was just coasting towards retirement here.
Prediction: He will do pretty good at Arkansas his first year because he will have to be on his toes proving his worth and the new excitement in the fanbase will carry them some. It's the season after where he will revert to dogs on lap, Little house on the prairie, and not bothering with defense or scouting teams.

That’s crazy talk. He can’t coach and that’s the problem

The poor guy doesn’t even look all the way awake, much less happy. He couldn’t have stayed but seeing him like that makes me REALLY wish he’d have bowed out gracefully three or four years ago when we could have sent much more of our good will along with him.
