Watched "Dark" it is indeed an interesting series. I had to rewatch first season before watching 2nd just to try to get everything straight in my mind again. The 3rd Season looks like it going to take it to a other level which is going to be even more complicated to keep things straight.

Great season. Sucks that it was only 8 episodes. I also believe the American is Hopper. I told my son when we watched it he likely isn't dead since they never showed him die like the Russians that were disintegrated.
I am guessing somehow he was sucked/thrown into the gate and they were able to open another gate in Russia where he was found in the Upside Down. How else did they get ahold of a demogorgon? I doubt they captured one in Indiana and moved it all the way to Russia.
