Anyone watch the series/season finale? Feels like on the old ZZL we would have a multi-page thread on it.

For someone in their mid-40s, the 1980s nostalgia was off the hook!

Wife and I watched it. I dug it. Subject matter is not really my cup of tea but I got into it. The nostalgia was awesome. When I first saw Max’s Madrid skateboard I had a mini freakout! That was rad! They could have chosen a Powell, SC, Vision, etc from the era All in all it was a good show.

I’d watch another version/series in the ST universe!

SC has released a ST deck series of past iconic graphics with ST subject matter. I’m in the fence about getting the Salba/Demigorgon deck. Running out of wall space.

As an aside, I’ve one Madrid deck in the collection. Signed reissue of John Lucero’s first Madrid pro model.

The scene at the end in the basement with Mike's monologue had me in the feels hard. Most of those kids became decent to great actors which surprised me.

There were several moments in the series that got me like this.

When Will realized he had powers similar to El’s, I had a similar reaction to when Luke appeared in the Mandalorian. I was fired up!

Season 3 is as good as tv gets to me. This season was messier, but I still liked the characters, and the closing scenes (while a lot) felt right. I'd watch a spin-off of the older four meeting in Philly for sure.

That collection is so sweet!! Wow.

Back in the 80s I had a couple of Tony Hawk decks and a Tommy Guerrero.

The last season was not very good. Too much Henry. Vecna was way too easy to kill as well. All that time setting him up as the big bad and he goes down that easy? Also, the mind flayer died way too easy as well. If he would have made it to earth the military would have ended him in a few seconds. If kids with pointy spears, a couple of guns, and molotov cocktails can kill it why wouldn't it be easy to take out with serious weaponry? I just thought it was overall a weak ending to a series that had been on for ten years.
