I know this has been discussed ad nauseam on here, but I have had YouTubeTV for several years and like it. A friend, we are both old and cheap, just told me he started DirectTV streaming, and is able to let his grandson use it also a few miles down the road, and it has all of the same channels plus some. Any thoughts on this streaming service. I'm happy with YouTubeTV, but if I could let a few of my grandkids have free TV, it might save me a few Christmas presents. Instead of a present or check, I could give them a login ID and password.

You can give YouTubeTv to a different state if you want. My account has 6 people on it but only 3 can be watching at any one time. A friend on the other side of the city uses my account.

YouTube TV is hard to beat.

All you have to do is create some sort of family thing and invite each person to it. Then they just join with their Google account they more than likely already have.

I'd be estactic is someone gave me free YOuTube TV since I already pay for it. My brother and I split it so that would save me like $32.5 a month.

Not if it was split up so much that too many people are using it, therefore locking you out.

But yeah.. if I kill the other grandchildren and it's just me using it.. could be better than an actual Christmas gift.

How many days until Christmas?

Just got YouTube after dropping Satellite DirecTv. I set up a "Family" and my son in Lexington can access and my daughter in Denver. The catch for my daughter is you get the Local Networks based on Zip code. So we all get Lexington Locals and she can't get Denver ones. For her to keep any locals she has to log in to her account from our Zip Code once very 90 days. But all other channels will always be available to her even if she not in Lexington every now and then to log in

Does it only get the Lexington channels or get WYMT too in Corbin?

Roku Express is on sale at Amazon for 17.99 if you have a dumb TV. Pretty good deal.

I have DIRECTV stream along with AT&T fiber. You get 2 extra streams for separate addresses. Son-in-law uses it for ESPN, SECN, HBO, and the Reds. I am satisfied with the quality of service. The price goes up 25% after your initial contract. I would switch but now I am stuck because I am the TV daddy.

Can you control the volume with the Express now? It's worth the extra money to be able to only use 1 remote.

Streaming take, Glenn.

If you have T-Mobile service, you can get 1 year free of Paramount+ with ads. $4.99/mo thereafter. Registered for it yesterday. Wife getting into Tulsa King.

Hulu Live has an add-on for unlimited screens. Basic Hulu Live is going to run you roughly $70 a month and then there is a $10 a month add-on for unlimited screens. The nice thing is that this also brings in Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ are part of the package. If you are looking to share with a bunch of people, this might be the way to go.

I would never have anything that AT&T owns again. Not only are their prices ridiculous after the first year, their customer service is the absolute worst. Nothing but a horror show with them.
