Need an expert, techno wizard. Please help. Thanks in advance.
I have YoutubeTV. Problem: Too blurry, too much buffering/loading; sometimes just unwatchable. Occasionally will see a game clearly, then picture is degraded for some reason. Just switched service from Spectrum at 70 mbps to 200 mbps internet with Metronet. Some channels seem better; still have problems watching sports...anything from crystal clear to near constant interruption and stopping. Very annoying. Very hard to diagnose.
Buffering and picture stopping does not happen at all on when watching on my Chromebook. That isolates problem to ROKU, TV, or various channel signals.
Have old basic ROKU. Could this be part or all of the problem?
It cannot now be an internet speed issue, right?
TV is eight-year old Insignia.
Netflix is perfect; live ESPN channels seem never seem to be consistently good. Netflix is through ROKU and never buffers--this is absolutely perfect streaming. That would seem to discount problems with ROKU and TV.
What is causing the buffering, blurriness, etc? Have checked internet discussions and googled until I cannot Google anymore...no solutions.
Replays are better than live (it seems) but at times choppy and buffering.
Is this the best that it gets? Should we expect this to be no better than it is?
Do any of you know the secret here? Appreciate any help.
