He was great. But changed sports center forever and for the worse.

After him every anchor did nothing but spit out pitiful attempts at catch phrase and or buzz words in hopes they'd reach his level of popularity.

Just cant do it like he could

I did not like his Sports Center commentary.

I watched ESPN from the beginning. Scott was the first anchor to openly pull for his favorite team. Others followed.

I definitely didn’t like Stuart’s ghetto style of doing highlights, but I understand he was a great guy and it’s a shame that cancer took his life at such a young age.

I believe he referred to Parcells as dawg once, cringe worthy.

Jr. and I stayed behind to watch part of the Utah/UNC game in '98 FF and happened to stand behind some seats where Stu was at, fun watching him get out of his seat and pace around like us normal fans.
