Awful. We had good student attendance for HC, the Pitt game in '92 (1st night game at Rutgers Stadium), and that was about it.

IMO we had 44k there. I'd even say 45k. Overall, once it filled in it was a pretty good crowd.

The group I went with made it there by exactly noon and we left at 1120. And honestly we show up and stay the game and were loud, yet people on this board still want to call us out. How about you worry about selling out the north end zone and upper deck which again were empty.

Our student section at Michigan is notorious for being half empty at kickoff for noon games (much better this year) and 90% empty by the end of the 3rd on days like today.

Many posters here believe this "myth" that ALL student sections are packed for EVERY game around the nation, every week, no matter who that team is playing. This is bred from, likely, people watching ONLY big games, late or night games, etc..

You guys did a very good job today. 99% of us aren't giving you ****. Let's ALL hope that something can be worked out here. Present the following to Hobbs:

- use The Bubble (more than big enough)
- put a gigantic piece of plastic (okay, get a roller...) over the surface
- card at the door and bracelet all students over 21 who enter
- hire a team of bouncers to work inside.
- have a DJ
- easy walk from bus drop-off and to stadium entrance
