Went to see them at Hard Rock Casino, Tulsa a couple weeks ago. Very good concert. Tommy Shaw, James Young. Band still has the energy to deliver a good show. Anyone else see this concert?

No but I hated to miss it. Sounds like it was a great show.

Is it true that they lay off the DeYoung stuff? If so, the concert would be incomplete to me. I know, some followers of Shaw and the anti-rock opera crowd like to dismiss DDY but to me both are Styx.

Lawrence Gowen plays keyboards and sings the Dennis DeYoung songs, really does a nice job. He's been with the band since 1999. They play mostly songs from the earlier albums - Paradise Theater and previous, don't think they played any from Kilroy Was Here.

Headed to ZZ Top tomorrow at Shawnee, better catch these classic rock bands before the only place you can hear them play is Branson, MO.

First concert I ever saw was STYX in 1979. April Wine was the warm up band. Great first concert!
