After one year of the success factor in football the one thing it accomplished is that it almost certainly prevented a public school from winning 6A. If Montini and SHG stayed in 5A along with Nazareth (their number for this season was clearly a 5A number) and JCA obviously 5A was going to a private school. But the 6A field would have produced a public school winner.
