Anybody check out the leaked trailer? I would link it but I'm on my phone. I thought it looked great. Harley Quinn will be awesome and the Joker looks to be pretty creepy as well.

I haven't. I don't want my first impression to be a crappy bootleg. I'm definitely looking forward to the film. I'm starting to accept the Joker tats.

Sorkin has that playful tone and Robbie definitely does that. But she has the creepy raspiness to her voice.

I wonder if Will Smith is smashing Margot Robbie. They've done two movies together this year. I can't see the Fresh Prince passing up that Australian dime piece.

Much darker than the Marvel movies.

And that is why they have a decent shot, IMO. Man of Steel was pretty poopy, but I do think Dawn of Justice could be good. From what I've seen of Affleck as the Bat, he juuuuust might be able to nut up to this after all.

I'm not trying to start a nerd fight here but DC just has better, more iconic characters. If done correctly, they should annihilate Marvel.

Who gives a **** about a Hawkeye? IMO

Man of steel was a decent movie, even it went darker with superman killing Zod. But you're right, dc has some classic characters.
Joker may be the greatest villain ever, he's perfect to counter batman.
And batman is dark and tormented, the perfect antihero almost.
Anyway next year looks to be fun at the movies
By darker I meant better, while marvels are good, they tend to be a bit campy.

I thought Man of Steel was vastly better than any post-Avengers sitcoms that Marvel has trotted out. Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad look awesome. I know that all of these characters live in a shared universe, but I hope Justice League 1 and 2 don't get bogged down with too many characters.

Either way, these movies look great.

Yeah because The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy were terrible right? ::rollseyes::

Superman killed Zod in Superman II also.

Guardians of the Galaxy I'll give you. It was entertaining. I honestly hated Winter Soldier. Watch the Cinema Sins video about it on YouTube. That guy can point out everything I didn't like about it better than I can.

I see Hollywood is blowing it's entire wad on Marvel/DC stuff. By 2020 there will be 9 superhero flicks on the year and we'll be on our 4th Spiderman since Tobey McGuire's emo-outing.

These movies have all been "cool", some were great. But how many do we really need all at once? How about Hollywood ends it's incestuous tendencies and gets some decent writers that isn't cousin Neil's 2nd cousin? The well has run so dry and it's evidenced by the 5th comicbook movie for the year so far. Maybe space them out a bit more.

If you're gonna rehash and not come up with something original, at least give me a damn prequel to Glengarry Glen Ross.

No that is a horseshit Youtube channel. I won't even watch that for movies I didn't like.

Follow him on twitter. He is pretty clear that most of the 'sins' he points out are just silly entertainment. He loves a lot (if not most) of the movies he brutalizes

I would like to see Hollywood branch out into the non-"super" hero comic world like TV is doing. "Super" heroes are neat but kinda played out, especially when characters like the Green Arrow and Batman are being touted as super heroes yet have no super powers.

Like the Walking Dead. Robert Kirkman's (same writer of The Walking Dead) Outcast coming out this year on Cinemax I believe. Empire of the Dead is going to be getting a TV, as is Infinite Horizon. There's a whole lot more interesting stories out there than "super" heroes conquering "super" villains, especially when DC and Marvel blatantly rip off a "super" hero character from their rival.

After reading your post, I've noticed "super" Is such a weird word. Just say it over and over.

Hollywood will keep making them when they are making serious bank with almost every one of them. Some of them looked questionable but did huge bank like Guardians. Ant Man doesn't exactly look great so we will see. The big flop of all these movies has to be Green Lantern. Hard to make a superhero out of someone who uses a ring.
I'd like to see DC use Stephen Amell for Green Arrow. He expressed interest in it and already has a following.

DC > Marvel

I agree. I don't like the cartoonish stuff that much, which Marvel does all the time. I do enjoy Thor though and used to be into Spider-Man before growing out of it but I'm a huge Batman fan. Like too much of a fan.
