I killed my long time Trib subscription a year ago because of the lack of any college coverage. IT's all pros, all the time. They did lead with an AP story about the Cats on Monday. Meanwhile, the Hawks and Bulls are terrible and get beat coverage every single day.

In fairness to the Trib, they're not just ignoring NU or college sports in general. They also have zero HS and outdoors coverage. It's stunning.

After moving to Tucson 10 years ago, I subscribed to the Trib for 9 years, but discontinued it mainly due to the fact that most of the non-sports columnists my wife & I enjoyed reading left the paper. However sports coverage also has suffered

The Sun-Times (for now) has been saved by it's affiliation with WBEZ

The Trib..well when hedge funds run newspapers....I am more than happy with my switch to the Hardest Working Paper in America, The Sun Times......lots of high school coverage and a paper that cares about the Chicago community...now partnering with WBEZ

Thinking of making the switch to the Sun Times for those reasons. But I’ll miss the daily Jumble in the Trib.
