This is the last Sunday with so few meaningful games. Same for tomorrow.

Starting Tuesday and from here on out every single day is loaded with big games or conference tournaments from the small leagues.

Can't wait.

Drake avoids what would been a catastrophic loss at home to Missouri State but down 2 with 22 secs left Missouri State missed a FT and Drake got fouled with 9 secs left hit both FTs got a stop and then won in OT.

Drake will be interesting case if they make the MVC Finals next Sunday and lose they would be 29-4 with a win on a neutral court vs Vanderbilt, a win at Kansas State (where many good teams were beat this year), a win at 2nd place Bradley a win at 3rd place Northern Iowa.

The problem is all 3 of their losses were quad 3 losses home to Bradley which should not really be considered bad they are barely a quad 3 loss but 2 bad losses at Ill-Chicago and the worst one home to Murray State.

Bracket Matrix has Wisconsin right above us and they lost. It was a quality Quad 1 road loss, so it probably doesn’t help us, though.

Win or lose, most games just don’t move the needle much unless it’s a big upset.

I think it's all going to come down to how the committee grades UK without JR.

We sucked against Auburn (fine) but we need to beat lsu solid at home and have a close loss or win a close one at Missouri. If we lose to Missouri we need to win that 8 vs 9 game nnsec tournament. We need to beat a quality team going forward without JR. Lsu isn't that. I think if we win 2 games maybe we get a 3 with these other teams losing.

My gut still says 4. People also need to understand its gonna be rigged so we get the sexiest second round matchip. I think they want us vs st johns but idk if they can rig that.

Keep n mind st John is showing as a 4 though. They can eff us and drop us to a 5 and make it happen though.

Crazy how just 2 weeks ago Michigan State was not even in the top 16 in the reveal and they are a solid #2 seed right now probably #7 overall.

I agree that losing Robinson will cause the committee to dump us a seed line if there is any close race because you can no longer say losses without him matter. You could still consider losses without Butler though.

It sucks no way around it losing Robinson really hurts the paper and the on court team. Really sad he got hurt in practice as well it wasn't even in a game.

Illinois looking good. It would be a monumental collapse, if they lose this one with six minutes left and an 18 point lead.

But stranger things have happened.

Sure would been nice if Rutgers beat them they would not even be sniffing us

They still play Maryland and at Michigan State so hopefully they lose both but losing 1 of the 2 should be good enough to keep Kentucky ahead of them going into tournament action I would guess but again Robinson injury just may sink us seed wise if we lose at Missouri.

Illinois helping us some. Really comes down to our last 2 games.
Need to beat LSU, not get blown out to Mizz, and win our first round game.
