Just going to re-do this.

Generally, I've found when the scores are closer I pay attention more. When the scores are far apart, I still watch, but just not as intently. Hopefully this helps.

Best SB's....the ones were the Patriots, Cowboys, and 49ers lost. BTW, has a team ever been luckier in SB's than the Patriots. ALL Seattle and Atlanta had to do was run the ball and all this Brady as the best ever stuff doesn't exist.

At the same time, take away two insane catches by the Giants (and a complete choke by Welker to seal it) and he has two Super Bowls including an undefeated season.

My picks

Best: Giants/Pats David Tyree catch game.
Worst: Ravens/49ers

Ravens and 49ers was a five point game that came down to an incomplete pass in the end zone on fourth down with like 1:50 left, I believe.

Seahawks/Broncos was brutal
49ers/Chargers
Cowboys/Bills first one

Those were tough. If you look back at the Broncos Super Bowl history, all of their games were boring as can be with the Packers/Broncos one being the exception.

Best

AFL Jets over the NFL Colts, 1969. Broadway Joe became a legend after that game and established legitimacy for the AFL.

Worst

Dolphins over the Redskins, 1973. Dolphins capped a perfect season, but it was the most boring game in league history with a final score of 14-7.

Should an undefeated team have had that much trouble with a 10-6 Giants team? The Patriots have never dominated a SB. Never just came out and run over somebody. Eli Manning beat him twice. Eli Manning. I just find it funny.

Even though it was Peyton Mannings first SB win (I think)... Colts vs Bears was pretty lackluster, plus it was raining. I dont really recall anything happening in that game?

My basis for my picks was determined by my absolute hate for those teams and the scenario was where I was at overseas in the military for the game. Don't have to agree with the opinion, that's why it's my pick. I also do not like to ever contribute to a thread the same thoughts echoed by everyone else. It was a 28-6 game did not get close until after that power outage in the 3rd Qtr when the 49ers began their rally to fall short by 3. 2001 with Rams/Pats was kind of blah for people like me who enjoy offense and not a Pats fan either. Allegations arose in Spygate of the practice filmed resulting in a video assistant getting fired. Whether one believes it or not, I certainly look back with a black cloud above it. Yes, it was a 3 point game but that is not always a sole factor for me in determining if it was a great game or not. If one finished 2-0 on a safety I certainly would not be excited. From a fan standpoint, watching my Bengals lose twice is a bitter taste in my mouth especially when we've never won. Super Bowl XXIII was lost on a Joe Montana TD drive with 39 seconds to go. A thriller for some, heart breaker for me.

Feel the same way about 2007 and 2011? I bet most would say that the 2007 superbowl was one of the greatest. Monumental upset over a team that everyone generally dislikes.

Seattle/Pats, pretty great game.. but the Pats/Falcons game was just a chokejob by Atlanta. That game was theirs and they just didn't want it.

Yes, 2007 was awesome. 2011 was not as good.

Neither of those games were as good as the other ones I listed because one was a walkoff touchdown in OT and the other an interception from the one yard line.

If ATL was a choke job then what was the Pats/Giants 11 one? Welker dropping a pass that would’ve sealed it, a 12-man penalty on a stop that led to a touchdown, etc.

If SEA/ATL were choke jobs then so are the Giants games. Personally, I think the Atlanta one was New England straight taking it from them considering they had to be perfect at the end to make it happen.

Continued to stop them
Stripped Ryan to get the fumble
Scored two consecutive touchdowns and got the two-point conversions and then marched down in OT.

This wasn’t Buckner letting one roll under his legs or someone shanking an extra-point attempt.

Atlanta was up 28-3.. Please don't put that in the same category as the Giants beating the Pats. The Giants beating The New England Patriots is probably considered the greatest Superbowl in modern day. It was a true Cinderella underdog story and they took down a team that was 1. deemed unbeatable and 2. was cheating. The Pats losing in 2007 was like Rocky beating Drago. It was the perfect script for any sports movie you can think of.

Seattle was just a bone-headed play. But I've said this before.. Giants won their games.. Seattle and Atlanta more of less lost theirs due to idiotic play calling. Mistakes in games happen, and Pats had some to allow the Giants to win (Also had their own spectacular plays).. but at no point did the Pats ever royally mess up.

So did WVU choke on Saturday or did we take it from them?

If we choked against USCJr, simply because we were up by so much, then yes, WVU certainly did some choking on their end. Celebrated too early, let leads evaporate, didn't take us seriously.

Hard to use Kentucky as an example.. Because it's such a young team that you know they will finally start to click. You very well could have seen two different teams this past Saturday.. The old Kentucky and the new one that was spawned from Cal's halftime words.

Pats certainly did many things right to come back, but Atlanta did a hell of a lot wrong. One or two plays go their way and it just doesn't mater because they would be too out of reach at that point. They inexplicably went away from the gameplan that got them a 25-point lead.

Let's ask the folks here.. which was the more memorable, the more entertaining and the greater superbowl.. I can't imagine anyone here is picking NE/Atlanta over NE/Giants.

Not sure any SB will top the Star Power of SB13, both teams full of HOFers or should be HOFers. SB14 is a very underrated game, Rams were in it till the end.

49ers Chargers that was one of the worst blowouts I’ve ever seen.

Some of my favorites were last year, Packers Steelers, Patriots Seahawks, and Steelers Cardinals

SB23: Bengals/Niners was the worst. Didn't really pay attention because I was 8, but damn. That was the only opportunity I'll ever have to see the Bengals in the Super Bowl. F Joe Montana.

That's a lot of broncos. Don't be hating on my AFC team like that

I'm not hating. The Broncos have gotten theth *** handed to them 4 times in the Super Bowl.

I was rooting for them in all their Super Bowls except for the ones against Green Bay.

I was a HUGE Elway fan!!!!!

Disagree on the Rams/Titans, exciting finish but game was boring. Rams were up and down the field all day, couldn't put it away.
