mahomes is Peyton manning with feet. Give chiefs o-line credit, they handled that d-line pass rush.

Purdy missed a few wide open WRs for TDs. Big difference in the game.

He exhibited some very juvenile behavior by running into his head coach during a tantrum.

Taylor Swift is equally immature.

These two kids might make it after all 🤣🤔😎
Is this the part where Taylor flips her beret into the sky ?

Holy Sh*t the Nickelodeon feed is real?!

I flipped to Nickelodeon early in the first quarter out of curiosity and never went back. It was hilarious. And I’m allegedly an adult at 52.

Half way through the second quarter, Dora the Explorer asking if either team wanted a map to the end zone. Patrick Star being disappointed to find out that he was not getting $0.25 after each quarter. SpongeBob telling Plankton that they were never ever getting back together.

Since I had no rooting interest in either team, it was a helluva fun way to watch the game without all of the over analysis.

Same. Went to a friend of mine's and told him to turn it on. We never looked back - SpongeBob: 'The score is 3-0; my IQ is 3, and Patrick's is Zero.'

So was SF’s decision to take the ball in OT dictated by analytics?

One school of thought is to take the ball second, so that you know how many points you need and have 4 downs to play with.

But SF was thinking they would have the ball first, after both teams had a chance to score, once the OT was truly sudden death. Seems intuitively dumb, but maybe the analytics told them to do it, even though this is the first time these new OT rules came into play.

I'm sure this will enrage some old men yelling at the sky who were told she is the devil and they need to hate her. Great game for sure yesterday and a fun watch. Niners really just failed to put them away and let them hang around.

I'm interested in what @Grant Green thought about it. Obli and I were talking about it on the old board, and have very different views. I thought it was the right call, since getting the ball for that 3rd possession if the teams matched punts or FGs is such a huge advantage. But it's a new enough scenario, that I haven't seen much really good analysis of it yet.

Maybe a technicality, but that doesn’t qualify as a chug for me. There was a slight pause in the middle of that. Chugging requires downing an entire beer without stop.
Looks like she and her pal were waiting to get on the big screen (tipped off of just waiting?) and both tried to chug as ice spice watched giving hand signs. I am sure I am the board prude but I've seen way too many people develop addictions. And as a parent of a teen, I've heard way too much "you are out of touch today, dad." when bringing it up. I always wonder if these people ever sit back, later in their years, and think "I wonder how much damage I did to kids that are too easily influenced or those who have addictions." And I wonder if it is worth it. Tayler certainly doesn't need that PR.

The feaux outrage police coming out yet again. Sports in general has people drinking on TV every day of the week. College sports, MLB, Hockey, NBA...you name it. I've seen Tom Brady chug beers with the best of them...hell he got drunk and was tossing the Lombardi trophy to another boat which was all over social media and the news for days. MLB playoff celebrations are all about champagne and beer. Guess what, they are not responsible for addictions of anyone watching those events. You have this notion that everyone has to live like you do for some reason.....it's a joke. Hell Jesus turned water into wine....you would probably wag your judgemental finger at him too. I knew there would be someone out there who would put up this post...not surprised.

No surprise that we're on the same page. This is not the same format as college (where it is best to defer). The fact that it goes sudden death on the 3rd possession makes it more advantageous to take the ball first. Not sure that it is enormous edge, but pretty sure it's at least a slight edge.

And if SF had scored a TD on the first possession, I'm pretty sure KC has to go for 2 after their TD.

maybe. the proliferation of abusive drinking, whether it be Tom Brady or golf fans at the WM Phoenix Open (see other thread) isn't OK because everyone does it.
