A place to post your thoughts and comments on The Big Game.

- Tom Brady: Has there ever been an underdog that was so successful that they basically turned into the evil empire in most people's eyes?

- Sean McVay - My last boss played DT at Miami of Ohio. His freshman year Big Ben was a senior and his junior and senior Sean McVay was a freshman and sophomore. He still has McVey's number and he's a super smart, super cool guy. It would be cool to see him win this game.

I want the Rams to beat the F out of the Patriots....but they won't. Which in turn will piss me off even more. Although the Rams do have a pretty stellar front line on D. They may be able to disrupt Brady enough and not line up off sides.

With New England, you either hate'em or like'em...not sure how anybody could be amphibious on this game.

The only sure thing is that there will be either a. an extremely absurd call go in the Pats favor and/or B. the opposing team (in this case The Rams) doing something completely inexplicable and away from the game plan that falls right into the Patriots lap.

Normally I wouldn't cheer for a career ending injury but I am in this game. I hope the Rams put Brady on a stretcher.

Have to get pressure with 4 to beat the Pats. As a Rams fan my two biggest concerns are Gurley's health and Goff versus a 2 week Belichick game plan.

It's just such a tough offense to do anything against. The Ball is hiked and it's out of Brady's hands in two seconds flat. It's not only hard for the front 7 to get to Brady in time, but it's also tough for the secondary to contain it.

The Chiefs secondary, and defense as a whole, just wasn't great. The Rams have better pieces in that area and a young mastermind in McVey.

Hope the Rams win, and hope it goes to the wire like the Eagles - Pats game did. We found a good, locally owned wing place down here today and will be getting wings from there on Sunday with several Pacifico's to wash them down with.

Battle of the coasts. Will be really interesting to see the ratings that come out of it.

It's set up to be a home run in terms of checking all the boxes for mass appeal.

-LA team...major media market and population center
-Boston Team...major media market and population center
-For every person that will watch to see Pats win, there's at least 1 or more who will watch to see them lose
-A lot of star power and name recognition in terms of head coaches and players
-Should be a lot of throwing and offense
-Controversy heading into the game via a blown call

Just want a good game. Pats are pros at this now and probably pissed at losing last year and having the Rams/Chiefs steal the spotlight this year. Pats by 10 as much as I hate to say it.

Pats win and then everyone is happy because Brady probably retires on top on many levels.

He said he's not retiring, but I guess it's a possibility. Not sure why he would. It's not like standing in the pocket for 2 seconds to throw the ball 8 yards is a tough gig.

If the offense continues to go this trend, you're going to see a lot of 40 yo QBs in the future say "Wait, so I can not get hit and throw shovel passes all day? Yeah, I'll take that"

I think it will be a good game but I do think that the Rams have what is needed to beat them.

Edge pressure doesn't do anything to Brady. He just slides or steps up to avoid. In 2011 it was not Jason Pierre Paul that caused issues, it was Justin Tuck who they slid inside and brought pressure up the middle in Brady's face. That is what I do If I am the Rams. The Rams have violent, athletic interior DL that are pass rushers. Turn them loose. I bring Dante Fowler on so many delayed actions and stunts in the middle it is crazy. Then, you play physical with the WR's. I tell Peters, Johnson, Talib and Joyner to hit those WR's and TE like crazy in those first 5 yards off the line. Try and push them to the ground. Disrupt the timing. You cant sit back. You have to be aggressive. I think Aaron Donald dominates this game and the Rams win 34-27

The Rams have more talent but the Patriots will win. Superbowls are just another day at the office for these guys. Their preparation, game planning and execution will be superior to the Rams who are on the big stage for the first time. McVay is a great young coach, but he ain't beating the B&B machine Sunday.

Brady said yesterday there is a zero percent chance that the SB is his last game.

The Rams are the more talented team across the board. This game comes down to how well New England’s defense plays IMO. If the Rams can get to ~31 points I see them winning. Brady is going to get his. If Gurley is close to 100% the Rams should be able to move the ball. Comes down to scoring touchdowns instead of field goals. All the people bitching and moaning about the blown call vs the Saints forget that NO should have been up 21-0 and put that game away in the first half. Field Goals are killers.

Not super impressed with Goff - I remember how great Kaepernick looked for a while, turns out he was wholly dependent on Harbaugh. I could see Goff going to a different team at some point and revealing himself to be pretty mediocre without McVay.

Agree with your front 4 comment - only teams that have success against Pats in playoffs pressure Brady with no rush. Rams are great on the interior, I wonder if their edge rushes can make a difference....

Fowler seems to be coming on, he got the hit on Brees on the interception. He has to have a great game for sure. Suh also has stepped up, had been mediocre most of the year.

Rooting for the Patriots. Not enough people properly appreciate what Brady and Bill have done. It will never be done again. This is their ninth Super Bowl with so many different cast members and undervalued guys who have become big-time players.

Montana played in four SBs
Manning played in four SBs
Elway played in five SBs
Favre played in two SBs
Brees and Rodgers have only played in one.

That’s crazy.

Why some should root for the Rams is crazy since they got to the Super Bowl on a horrendous call; there’s no controversy about the Pats getting back.

The good news is that if the Pats are in the Super Bowl (Bill and Brady era), it’s going to be a good game. In all eight games, it was decided by one possession.

For those who hate Brady so bad do you mind if I ask why? I mean some have even said they hope he is injured. I admit I am not a fan of the Pats or Brady but do admire what he has been able to do but I just don't see the reason to hate the guy enough to wish harm to him just because he has been successful.
