Refs patting Brady on the back tonight...New England plays some disciplined ball. 1 penalty so far. EYE ROLL.
barf.
But at least they got it right. Why did they spend so much time on that review? The guy took 3 steps after he caught the ball. It was a TD the moment he broke the plane.
Michaels and Collinsworth are like they are at a funeral.YES!!!

Collinsworth is still babbling about this call. Why doesn't NBC send him to the Pats' locker room so he can give Brady a tongue bath? Why did they spend so much time on that review? The guy took 3 steps after he caught the ball. It was a TD the moment he broke the plane.
Normally I like that duo, but good grief, the New England and more specifically Tom Brady love, was nearly unbearable. If you did a drinking game where you took a shot everytime Collinsworth spouted praise for Brady, you would have been dead from alcohol poisoning by the second quarter, and it never let up.Michaels and Collinsworth are like they are at a funeral.
Agreed. It is interesting how they managed to throw a few false starts on Philly at inconvenient moments.Burkhead looked good.
Didn't watch much NFL this year...it was STRIKING how lax the enforcement of pre-snap rules have become. Saw a lot of illegal shifts, forward motions, and plain old false starts for both teams not called. It's almost like the NFL version of traveling in the NBA I guess. Just bugged me.
I'm pretty sure they could have won with Wentz as well.Wentz going down won Philly a SB. Foles is better, that is all.....

We'll see. IMO they'll never even sniff the SB with him under center.[/QUOTE
Yet his (Wentz) play while he was healthy had them right on course to get to the Super Bowl. Geezus!
He was the mvp if he doesnt get hurt ...they are going to be good for awhile with himWe'll see. IMO they'll never even sniff the SB with him under center.
That was a great game to watch. I actually had the chance to drink at the Hofbrau Haus in Munich a few years ago while at Oktoberfest. I encourage anyone to go there and do it themselves. It was probably the coolest trip I have ever taken. The parts I remember.Wife is not feeling well. This is normal. I had a friend stop by for the first half, but had to leave as he arrived. His wife got off work early and her car was in the shop. Rooting for the Patriots to lose. Drinking some Hofbrau Original.

Because they overturned a Steelers TD that was very similar to that just a couple of weeks ago. Steeler fans are losing their minds right now.Why did they spend so much time on that review? The guy took 3 steps after he caught the ball. It was a TD the moment he broke the plane.

Wasn’t even close to the Pittsburgh play. Ertz took three steps before diving into the end zone.
I was there in 09 and it was pouring rain outside...very very warm and stuffy inside...kinda ruined itThat was a great game to watch.
