Damn it to hell. That gives us Sermon, Kennedy and Pledger, as backs who have seen any playing time this season. Still, not a bad trio of RBs, but hoping for a healthy last half of the season for our guys!

I saw #28 on the field last Saturday, and I believe his name is Turner
and I think he had one carry. Would he be in the mix of runningbacks ?

Number 28 is Reggie Turner listed as a WR and is 5'8" 155 lbs.
The other number 28 is Chanse Sylvie, a safety.

Losing another steady RB hurts. Looks like Pledger gets much more playing time. He is more than capable. Sorry to hear that Sutton has likely played his last game.

I guess Asamoah could work in with Hall if things got even thinner.

Hate that for Sutton but,,,I love the fact OU can and has recruited at a high level and still have 3 backs that can do the job. Most teams would be done at that position having lost what we have this season.

I think we are done. Both Sermon and Brooks have come up lame at times so they could easily get injured with so many games left to play. If you're down to 1 or 2 backs, you are screwed. I could see OU passing more than usual, or at least if another back goes down. This really hurts our chances down the stretch.

I looked and I don't see any other options behind those 3 unless we have walk-ons.

If OU has to become one dimensional, say goodbye to the season.

OU still has 4 more regular season games and if we're lucky a Big 12 championship game and either a bowl or 1 or 2 playoff games so it's possible OU might have 7 games to play with just 3 RBs. YIKES!

This could be Pledger’s time to shine. He really has good vision and a definite downhill runner like Sermon.
