I’m a firm believer in you stick with what got you there but I also believe you should throw everything but the kitchen sink at them. At this point of the playoffs especially 1AA they are no cupcakes. If this year's MA team is anything like last year's, it could be a long night for us. The ball control game we played last night will not work next week. We'll be looking at a lot of 4th and long.
Me to, much respect for Swain. Can they beat Mt Airy, probably not this year.I give Swain props. Only team in their conference that plays 1aa.
Well it's not like it's a choice thier the only team in thier conference that has 500+ students.I give Swain props. Only team in their conference that plays 1aa.
HA HA HA lolWell it's not like it's a choice thier the only team in thier conference that has 500+ students.
Well since everyone else in the conference has less than 500 students I’d say that why you dipstick. Go back to bedI give Swain props. Only team in their conference that plays 1aa.

SwainDad40, what were the offensive statistics for last week's game against MIC?
MA
Secondary is quick!!!!
The only thing Mount Airy's secondary will be doing Friday night is helping in run support, because Swain doesn't pass the ball at all.Man plays man most night anyway
Swain has no playmakers at receiver or tight end even if they had a true qb.all a defense has to do is play man to man with both cornerbacks on the receivers and let the free safety cover the tight end and put 8 in the box and the veer is not gonna be successful.
Been successful? How about the other 3 losses? The veer could be successful if they wasn’t one dimensional. You have to have an answer when it’s 3rd and long. Swain does not. Coaches have too much pride to change anything. They have left a great junior QB on the sidelines all year. What is really going on at Swain? The veer has been successful all season with 8-10 in the box except the Murphy and Robbinsville game. We have receivers and a good tight end. We just don’t throw the ball very often. Passing game average 25 yards per game.

Swain ran the ball last week with 11 in the box, that's smc football, stop us if you can.The veer has been successful vs Tuscola and Franklin. Smoky we abandoned everything. So I would not say that was our game plan that day. If we had a passing game then we would certainly have had more success. Probably at least two or three more wins this season. Our running game would have actually been better because defenses would have to honor the passing game. No doubt Swain should have made changes in our offense throughout the season. We have a qb that can throw give him an opportunity to show what he can do in games as well. I’m not completely against rotating quarterbacks either by series or based on game situations. Anything we can do to win I am all for it!
Your exactly right! If Swain don’t try something new it will be a long night in Mayberry!!Just keep running the ball all night and you will find yourself down 3 scores and wondering what do we do. Just ask Murphy
This doesn't even make sense. Murphy was very balanced offensively last year and are most years. Murphy's QB is at Western now for a reason. I mean Murphy lit your defense up to the tune of almost 500 yards of offense: 232 passing and 248 rushing.Just keep running the ball all night and you will find yourself down 3 scores and wondering what do we do. I don't think anyone has said they were. As a matter of fact, I don't think anyone has mentioned them in the same sentence with one another.MA is not MIC
Didn't know your QB is at Western, that means he has a Mitchell county boy blocking for him. He went as a preferred walk- on this year and starting guard. This doesn't even make sense, Murphy was very balanced offensively last year and are most years. Murphy's offense wasn't remotely the issue or the reason they lost to Mt Airy. Murphy lost because they inexplicably kicked the ball to your playmakers on special teams and because Holder and Smith ran all over Murphy's defense to the tune of 272 rushing yards and about 11 yards a carry.
