Swain changing things up?

Just had a chance to watch the Swain game online. I know that team they was playing was not very good but I seen a different Swain team on the field. #5 QB for Swain was throwing bullets and running good too. What’s the deal with that? Where has he been all year? Looked like the offense run smooth with him. Rumor has it that the HC and OC is resigning after the season anyway. Looks like a few years too late. That Swain Rich football tradition needs to come back!!

Congrats to #5 , I think his mother graduated from Robbinsville but married a maroon devil. From what I hear #5 is a fine young man and carries himself the way we all wish our children did. Glad he’s getting a shot.

I thought he’d be in Robbinsville next year ? I can’t remember ever making any comments about #5 other than what’s posted above. I’d rather not be part of a rumor factory . He is a student at Swain and as far as I know will continue to be. BK you must have me confused with someone else.

I don't think BKs statement was directed to you .. I think it was just a statement in general. Folks have been saying for months #5 would be a Black Knight next year.All his playing time Friday night was probably just like all the other new players on the field.A chance to let the back ups play against a very bad team.

Swain was playing Carolina Gladiators, not very good is an understatement, a decent SMC JV team would beat them. There's nothing to gather or ascertain from an opponent that awful.

The Hickory Hawks and the Carolina Gladiators are two completely different creatures. There really isn't any comparison. The Hawks have moments where they look like a real good football team, but seem to be penalty prone. The Gladiators are simply playing for love of the game and nothing else

Like I said that team was not good at all. Just nice to see them throwing the ball and opening it up again. From the past games, I wasn’t sure Swain could throw at all. At times they really needed too. It would be 3 and 20 and they would try to run the ball everytime. Could get real interesting after the season!

I don't know that there is a system!!. Seems like the last 3 games we only have about 3 plays we run 90% of the time. I stood on Andrews side last week with a friend and the coaches were telling Andrews players who was getting the ball every play.. They were right every time. I think our coaches are just being very conservative before the playoffs. Robbinsville has a large playbook.

But yes 100% on XPs.
