I saw this news on my lunchbreak and was saddened - this sucks. I remember being amazed by his story and pulling for him during Purdue’s deep run in the NCAAs during his final season.

Of all the B1G opponents, he was one who I simply cheered to overcome his difficult upbringing and thrive after he made it to the NBA. RIP Biggie.

Man that sucks. He was one of my all time favorites. Between him and AP dying a few weeks ago the B1G has lost some all time greats way way way too young.

Salt Lake Tribune had a good story today on his time going from homeless shelter to shelter while living in SLC as a kid. He was apparently very overweight as a kid until Roosevelt Barnes adopted him and helped him start eating more healthy. He reportedly lost 260 pounds. That can have a huge impact on your heart.
