The Stallions, 6-0 in conference trot the Horses up to NewPort to meet the Cougars, 5-1 in the last regular season game. Winner will be conference Champs.

Croatan after losing first 4 games have reeled off 5 straight. They are scoring pretty good but a little lacking on Defense.

Swo is 8-2 overall and getting 5 shutouts while only allowing 9 total points to conference foes and lighting up the score board. Ive said all year that the Cougars will give us the best game in the Coastal 8.

We've seen in the ECC that the favorite dosnt always win. Coach after the game told the team the same thing while bringing up those games.

I think we have really shown we can go with what ever it takes to win. Run, Pass, mix it up. At this point JUST WIN !!!!!

Yes, without the flags. A stretch of 2 series, a lot of em, 4 in a row at one point. But they showed if you stack the box against the run you will get burnt with the pass. Jordan with 1860 yards going in should come out with over 2000 and 30+ TDs. Dougan ran well also, the big guy up the middle. I really liked that pass to Foy coming out of the backfield. Barbree does have a leg kicking a lot of kickoffs into the endzone. Coach says he kicks it high so with a short kick the other teams starts inside their 20 most of the time. Most punts get very little if no return also. Only thing I have noticed is with a lot of defenders around the ball on kicks, if the returner gets started without being tackled its usually a pretty good return, so far havnt been burnt on it.

Weather forecast is for morning showers with dry skys in the afternoon and evening. Temps low 60s-high 50s. I think Croatan is mostly run. So game should go pretty fast. Both will get a good seed as the winner will be conference champs and losers draw #2.

Friday around noon I will finish my 2.5 hr. trek to Jacksonville, get a motel, eat before the game and stay the night before returning to Rougemont. Hope to see some of the old Top Row crew at the game. I know my old game buddy has passed away a few years back.

Hope its a big home crowd to view the Stallions finish another good regular season.

Can't wait. Jordan over 2000 yards. What a season the young man is having. Can't wait to see him take his game to the next level in the playoffs. Should be another running clock this Friday. Have to cut down on the flags, will hurt us in the playoffs.

Got this backs averaging over 8 yards a carry. BJ at 12.7 a carry with 1860 yards in eight games

Heading to Jville tomorrow morning.

Dont know much about Croatan. Might be a good game. I fully expect SWO to take it going away. Croatan has been scoring big the last 4 games, but allowing way to many. I'll get my popcorn and be on the top row about 6.

They have two backs over 1000 yards. But started 0-4 vs decent teams. EC beat them in conference game, score was like 48-41

LoL also remember that 2001 year as well, like you didn't keep mine. Richlands did some crazy things that year leading Into the game. Still haven't beat SWO in 32 years LoL

I knew you'd take the bait, it was a joke lol. Gotcha:D:D. No really my wife made one for me to wear tomorrow night, it says Northeastern Eagles on the front, and on the back it says "SWO IS OUR DADDY". See you tomorrow

Game went about as expected.

Jordan over 2000 yards, and 3 TDs.....all in first half

Was impressed with Dougan .....What a Horse. They couldnt take him down. One run he had at lest 6 on him at the end and about every Croatan D player got hands on him. Got about 40 yards that play. Another Play I swear there were all eleven D on him and still stayed up and going forward.

Dont know who #85 is (no program) hes a linebacker and a one man wrecking crew. HUGE hits causing at least two fumbles. #80 aint to shabby either.

Final: SWO - 50 Croatan - 7 ....they scored last play of game on long pass against subs.

In spite of it being a weak conference, I’m impressed with how SWO has been able to maintain focus and continue to play at a high level in games that are complete mismatches. For the most part , the Stallions have been sharp throughout all of these blowouts.

Now it’s time to truly regain focus and win 5 more!

SWO got a rough draw. Whiteville is a good football team. Hope we come ready to play, can't wait!!!! 2A east is loaded this year. Some good teams are going to head home early

Whiteville is a very good team. I wonder why MaxPreps doesn't like SWO? Beat WRH and lost to two good teams. I think you guys should be ranked much higher.

Conference is so damn weak. Horrible SOS. But SWO will come ready to play

Actually they have changed the bracket and now Wallace plays Whiteville, you guys got a much better draw playing Bertie.
