Stallion load up on the bus and across town again to play the Devil Pups of Lejeune. This will be a repeat of last two games only worse. That is if Coach Dempsey wants it to be.

Lejeune has had their highlight of 2019 winning the first game of the year against Jones that saw them put up 62 points. At 1-5 they have since gotten the short end of the ugly stick to the tune of 159 against to 10 for.

At 4-2 the Stallions are just biding their time, getting in some good practice waiting for the Playoffs. No doubt we will end at 9-2 winning the Coastal 8 once again for a shot at #1 seed, or #2 maybe.

Lejeune doesn't have a JV do they? College roommate of my dad, Coach Child's was there coach for allot of years. Every school year your prolly changing 50 percent of your student body.

Is this a regular public school or just associated with the Base ?

It is a DOD (Department of Defense) school. They have their own system for hiring teachers, coaches ect. All employees only get a one year contract at a time. They however are accredited thru the Sate Education Dept. Only childeren of DOD personnel can go there. Families living on base have bus transportation form the housing areas to the schools. There are elementary, Jr. High, and High School. When I moved off base in the middle of the school year my son could finish the year there but I had to furnish the transportation or as I did take him to a bus stop on New River Air Station. He then finished 10,11, 12 grade at South West.

They did the years I lived there. This year the only JV game scheduled is against Richlands on Oct. 17

OK football fans, get ready for "The Beat Down On Base" I know ya'll been waiting for this one as all of the Coastal 8 Conference Games. It's usually a blood bath in a town near you. The Punkin Heads gear up for a big conference game. Go ahead and laugh............Got it out of your system ? Game plan should let all the subs and JV's score as many as they can. Maybe not a highlight on others schedule but to SWO its just a means for a good seed in the playoffs. We Will show up, We Will Win. the line on this game is Lejeune "NO CHANCE". Maybe they will have hot MREs at the snack bar.

Again swo can't help what conference they are placed in. Win the games they are supposed to and see what happens in the playoffs. **** SWO won all their titles in 2A in the ecc, which Clinton and SWO represented the title game 10 years in a row period
