I used to live next to some military dudes that smoked this trash. They tried to convince me it was better than actual marijuana. My findings were the high was pretty intense, but short. Paranoia was off the charts. Taste was awful. Smell was awful. It was more harsh than the brown Mexican schwag I smoked in high school.

So, I told the soldiers I was sorry about their luck. I was going home go smoke a bowl of northern lights. They looked like starving dogs who just saw a big steak and kept puffing on their bath salts weed.

As for drug testing, I feel it's none of my employer's GD business what I do with my body on my time. If I show up to work ripped, fire me. If I wanna blaze on my day off, FU.

I'm thinking, possibly, of things like airline pilots who DO have such restrictions as don't drink alcohol within 24 hours of your flight. Even then a piss test is going to catch them smoking 3 days before, so I wouldn't really be in favor of that. And if you're curious, yes I'm 100% comfortable with my pilot having recently smoked. I'm just leaving the door open because I don't want to make absolute statements (nobody should ever test for it) when I may just not have heard a good argument for a specific exception.

I could go home every night and get piss, black out drunk and go to work hungover AF and nobody would care.

But if I smoke a joint tonight and get tested in 16 days I could get fired. I haven't been high for two weeks, but somehow I'm more of a liability than the alcoholic in another department. It's BS because pot is the only drug that's detectable beyond 48 hours (water soluble vs. fat soluble). I could do meth tonight and pass a piss test Friday.

I understand there could be some liability issues if my work involved driving or operating heacy machinery. I'm a desk jockey though. As it stands, I don't smoke any more because I'm subject to random invasions of my privacy. I mean drug tests. I've done pretty much all the drugs and drank more than my body weight in alcohol. The only drug that had no lasting effects is the one idiots in America have been demonizing since 1920-something because blacks and Mexicans smoked it. That's literally the reason marijuana is illegal.

Maybe a slight reduction, but most adults Doing that **** only do so to get around drug testing for employment and employers won't stop drug testing even if legalization nation wide occurs. Pot will never be legal for minors and that's the target audience. School systems have had a ton of problems with this synthetic crap.

Imo synthetic use and marijuana legalization are different issues.

I smoked that **** one time a few years ago. For some reason I thought it was weak, like the potency of leaf. I didn't know much about it at the time. Took a couple huge hits and regretted it soon after. I kept asking my buddy "what the F is in this??" and he said "it'd take me 10 minutes to read you the ingredients." Never again. But I don't really enjoy pot that much anymore these days anyway. My two recent acid trips were very enjoyable, however. Go figure.

I don't think most of the studies have been concluded yet. Colorado is a good case study and it's shown beneficial, and at the same time it's causing a host of other issues, like the boom of the homeless population. Time will tell.

I'm not really an advocate of legaliZation, but I understand it. That's an interesting chart you showed, and if it deterred prescription drug abuse then that's definitely an aspect to consider.

The main problem with pot I have is the amount of kids I see smoking it everyday and the problems it causes. Of course, I smoked about a quarter of loud a week through my early 20's (started in 8th grade) and I can say it effected my life negatively.

The laws for pot are backwards though.

At that point he said I flew back into the wall and started drooling and calling my dog, Bowzer, over and over and over screaming it.

The only thing I remember is seeing my girlfriend at the time dressed as an Air Force pilot on a mouse spin wheel running in place. I felt like I was trying to reach out to her and couldn't ever get there. Felt like I was in a foggy warehouse or something.

Tried it before in college...it made me laugh uncontrollably like how a whip it does. I think it depends on how hard you hit it...I think when taking a big hit it can have lsd levels of effects. It's all short acting tho I believe.

Your ability to attention, memory and learning are reduced. You become more prone to accidents, less coordinated, and are less reliable. In a sense you are a danger to those around you and that is why they test for it and why it isn't allowed in many work forces. That is the obvious.

Now, think about this.... As a nation we have spent literally millions, and no telling how much time educating, and forcing away from people the use of tobacco products because of their effects on health and the rising cost to combat that. Why we would then turn around and promote the use of something just as harmful to the body? It doesn't make sense.

Also, you fall into the category of those who feel alcohol is just as bad when it most likely isn't. I wouldn't care if it were illegal too but it doesn't carry the same harmful effects towards others that thc does because the effect of thc on your body can take days to clear your system where as alcohol is shorter.

Alcohol makes more money than dope does too and that's part of why it is legal, sins and all. If you can prove it's safer, and more cost effective than I'd tell you that you would have a case for pot legal.
